Gap Between Two Views: Part 2- The man who had gotten over it

Rae: " Did I hear what I just heard ?"

" So what do you think about it?"

Rae: " ......Let me process it first..."

" Take your time."

She took a slice of the pizza on the table.

Rae: " Well, I do believe your story but why would it be me?"

" I do have some idea why."

Rae: " Really? Enlighten me, then."

" No, I promised to keep it between him and me if I ever told you about that conversation."

Rae: " Wait, that means he told you why!"

She looked in her direction, having figured out why he was so secretive with her lately.

" Aside from that, I have a theory on the current situation."

Rae: " And what is it?"

" She must be taking all his time."

Rae: " That would.....make sense...."

" Is it bothering you?"

Rae: " Need I remind you about the story you just told me. If he really likes me that much, why would he start dating someone ?"

" Well, you know. Maybe he got over it or he met someone he found interesting. Wich seems to be the second case."

Rae: " So, he would ditch me because of that?"

" He's not ditching you. She must be keeping him busy at all times."

Rae: " He's not gonna die by playing some games."

" If you ask me, I think she sees you as a potential threat."

Rae: " What'd I do?!"

She switched to a more serious expression.

" What about you, Rae?"

Rae: " About what?"

" Are you willing to accept it as well ?"

Rae: " Of course."

She noticed  the rather peculiar expression she was harbouring.

" That's not what I meant. "

She noticed her precipitation to leave the room.

Rae:" I just wanted to spend some quality time together, he doesn't need to ignore me! "

" Rae, are you like actually jea......"

As soon as she pronounced the letter j, she had taken a run for it.

" ( There she goes)", she tought.

1 month and 10 days after this interaction

She had been waiting for the two others in front of the movie theater.

" ( They're late)", she thought.
