Raekkuno one shots

PARTING DAYS- Chapter K: Kept voice

Her phone rang violently from her bag. The sound was echoing throughout the object in an endless loop.

She picket it up.

" Hello."

As she put up the device to her ear, a gentle wind brought about.

The personn at the other side of the phone offered her concern.

Poki: " Are you guys done with the movie?" 

She contemplated the scenery of the background before giving an answer.

" Yeah."

She could feel a sort of kind of sorrow in her voice.

Poki: " Do you have something on your mind?"

" I'd prefer not discussing it in the open like that.Now, if you excuse me. I'll get back home."

She hung up.

While she was walking, steadily, step by step, two figures were slowly closing in.

The three of them recognized each other.  As a matter of fact, recognizing would have been the wrong word. Considering this group was the one in the theater.

For one moment, both of their eyes met.  Leaving the smaller one out of touch.

They wouldn't stop looking at each other for the limited amount that was offered to the both of them in this instance.

The fuzzy haired girl interrupted the momentum as she screamed from the bottom of her lungs.

Camie: " Hey!"

It made the both of them panic. In her panic, she had made her drop her bag because of the scarce the scream produced in her.

Sykkuno: " Why are you screaming like that", he said as he tried as best as he could to make his ears cope up with the high pitched scream. 

He noticed some object of the bag on the floor. Even more so, he couldn't help but notice the look of disdain she had. The glance was directed at Camie.

Sykkuno: " R- Rae, We'll help you pick it up. C-calm down please."

She was in a second state.

She pointed at the screamer with her finger and started poking her forehead.

Sykkuno: " Jesus. Now she's done it."

Camie,covering her forehead: " What did I do?!"

The more she talked, the more she was getting on her nerves.

" Don't scream like that again, you startled me!" 

She sighed.

Camie: " B-but but, something weird was going on over there. "

" You could still have talked it over like a normal personn."

Watching from afar, he sighed.

Sykkuno: " Camie, can you please help me pick up the rest?"

Camie mouth had turned upside down. The crescent "C" that formed it had changed into a descending one.

Camie: " Fine."

And so, they put everything back in place.

As to not make anything more awkward than it was, they silently walked towards the train station.

Truly, none of them wanted to utter words for a while.

That was until he grabbed her ear.

Sykkuno: " You have something to say don't you?"

Camie: " That hurts. Why are you doing that all of a sudden ?"

He looked at her as if he was waiting for something.

Camie: " Ok. Ok. I get it."

The happy go lucky girl turned to Rae and addressed her. 

Camie: " I'm sorry. It won't happen again."

She wasn't believing her apology came from heart in the slightest, but she accepted it. Not for her, but for him .

" It's fine."

After a while, the train had stopped. It was time for him to go.

Sykkuno: " Camie, 'you coming?"

She smiled as she responded.

Camie: " I'll join you later."

He shook his head in acceptance.

She wondered why she decided to stay in here. She was okay with her at first, however after that little incident, she wanted to mostly distance herself from her as possible.

Camie looked directly at her.

Camie: " I'm afraid of you."

The sentence was with no doubt directed at her.  It was the most serious she ever had been so far.

Getting a little concerned, she simply responded with a slight " Huh." to the declaration.
