Raekkuno one shots

THE AMNESIA CHAPTER ( Out of heart)

She noticed a piece of paper on the desk of the tv. A quick glance let her know what was written on it.

                     " Rae's Bat"

She let out a huge "What" sound.

" I have much more question now"

Sykkuno: " I told you, it was already there. I don't know why I would ever keep that."

She felt a little offended. It may have been a weird object but the fact of the matter was that it was for sure related to her. It was like he was indirectly saying he was fine with throwing around anything related to her.

" Why? You don't want to keep it?"

A feeling of panic consumed him. He didn't know exactly the real reason but the more she was playing around with the object, the more strong it felt.

Sykkuno: " You know,Rae, the more I look at you with that bat, the more uncomfortable I feel."

" WHAT DO YOU MEAN?"

Sykkuno: " I don't know. If I had to say. It's kind of like you weren't supposed to see that. Not really sure how to explain it."

" Huh. I didn't know you were hiding things from me. Well, aside from that..."

He noticed a big smile on her face.

" You finally started calling me Rae."

She jumped in excitement.

He didn't notice until she pointed it out.

Sykkuno:" I don't know, it somehow came off naturally after I heard you scream at me."

She didn't know how to respond to that.

" I-I-it was deserved !"

In a sudden turn, her excitement quickly came crashing down. It was like she had come to a conclusion.

" Hey", she said shyly.

Sykkuno: " What's the matter. You suddenly shut down." 

" What if you don't ever remember me? You started calling me by my name but I still feel like something is missing."

Deep in his heart, the feeling was shared with this viewpoint.

Sykkuno: " I don't get it."

She saw the same stern look he had for the whole week on his face. All the serenade from earlier disappeared.

" Right now, it feels like you're not even interested in the slightest about spending time with me. I mean, I had to go all the way over there for you to even pay attention to what I had to say."

The grip on his heart intensified.

Sykkuno: " I didn't realise you would interpret it like that. I didn't feel like answering some strange personn."

She slapped him.

" Stop saying that, be respectful. "

Sykkuno: " But I...."

" The personn I know wouldn't say that. Even when his jokes go too far, he always find a way to make it up. On the contrary, you, you don't try to fix anything. You just way for others to do it for you. You aren't him, you're just pretending."

She prepared to leave again.

"Sykkuno": " I'm sorry."

The closer she got to the door, the more the grip on his heart intensified.
This time, he put himself in front of the door.

" Please, let me go."

The heartbeats got faster, faster, faster and faster. He noticed that something hadn't left her grip for one second.

Sykkuno: " Why are you still holding that?"

She still had the bat in her hand. She didn't really think about what people would think if she started walking with a bat in hand.

" It's proof that you're still here somewhere."

Sykkuno: " That still doesn't explain why you're taking it with you."

She tried to move him to finally escape the reality of the situation.

" I forgot you could be that insistent at times."

She continued to try to push him, until she noticed something. He was crying.

Sykkuno: " Why? I don't understand."

He was the only one who couldn't understand, she understood fully where those tears were coming from.

She gently placed her hand on his cheek in a comforting gesture.

" Poor thing. It's hard, right?"

The words came out naturally from his mouth. Words he had no control over.

Sykkuno: " The more I hear what you say and the more I see your face, the more it hurts. I don't understand!"

She felt like she couldn't leave him in this state. In a sense, she felt relieved that deep inside, he hadn't forgot their bonds.

" It's out of heart", she said.

Sykkuno: " ...."

" Even so, I didn't realise you tought of me as this important."

Even with the amnesia, she knew what he said after that was genuine. She could feel it in his words.

Sykkuno: "Stay at my side, please!"

He shouted it at her. Her whole face turned red from embarrassment. 

" In what sense do you mean that....You're bold, you know that, right?"

Sykkuno: " Bold? What do you mean?"

She punched him in response to that question, not a strong punch, but one filled with compassion. 

" Nothing."

When the punch connected, a flash appeared before his eyes. It wasn't really there, it was more like he had a flash of memory coming trough his mind.

He frotted his cheek, freshly punched.

Sykkuno: " Rae, what are you doing here? "

" Huh."

He noticed what was in her hand.

Sykkuno: " W-w-what are you doing with that?" 

She laughed in response to that question .  She didnt feel like telling him what had happened.  She felt like it would have unacesarrily hurt him.

He felt hands around his waist. She was hugging him.

" You're back!"

The confusion grew.

Sykkuno: " Rae? What are you doing?"

Since she didn't provide answers, he didnt haste her for them . He simply patted her head in response .

P.s: I was free today so I could finish this one. Besides, I already have an idea for the next one. I may start to write it later in the day.
