THE EXCLUSIVE AND THE UNREQUITED 3 INTERMISSION

They had been sitting at this the table of the cafe for a long time now. It wasn't too long ago that these two had made her very loud and clear in her mind that he wasn't ever gonna chose her. 

The atmosphere was heavy. For sure, she got rejected and accepted it . However, it wasn't something someone could ever try to be just in compliance with. 

" So...", she tried to open the conversation as to not make her appearant discomfort visible.

Rae: " So what, Evah?"

Sykkuno: " You're the only one who hasn't passed an order yet."

She looked at them as if they were making a joke.

The other two were sitting side by side at the table as if to rub it in her face. Tough, she was the one who interpreted it like that.

" I-I'll take a strawberry smoothie...", she said hesitantly.

Sykkuno: " Your hands are shaking, are you ok?"

Rae: " Ah. I think I know why she's like that."

Sykkuno: " Really, why?"

She couldn't really believe he was asking this question.

His companion tapped on his side with her shoulder to interpel him. She whispered something to his ear.

Rae: " Well, I think she's acting like that cause you rejected her."

Sykkuno: " Oh, well...."

Seeing how secretive they were about what they were saying, she almost had reached a boiling point.

" Excuse me, I am here."

Rae: " Oh, sorry,sorry."

Her smoothie arrived.

Sykkuno: " Hey, Evah. Do you know what's smooth?"

Rae: " Spare me please."

She was genuinely curious about the answer to that question, her mind not really in the set to understand the full joke that was coming ahead.

Sykkuno: " A smoothie."

Rae, pretending to find it funny: " Ahahaha, good one."

She didn't wanna comment on it.

Sykkuno: " Wait, really?"

Rae had a big smile on her face.

Rae: " No, you idiot."

He had distilled the heavy atmosphere Evah had been feeling with this joke.

Seeing them like this, Evah tought for a second and seemed to have come to terms with something.

She had finally started to enjoy her coffee.

" It'd give it a 5, to be honest", she said as finally started to smile to them.

Sykkuno: " See, it's not that bad."

Rae: " A 5 out of what?"

" 5 out of 10."

And so, as she was enjoying more and more the time she was having, she felt light and relaxed. Truly, she was appreciating the moment she wa sharing with them.
