PARTING DAYS- Chapter H: Harbinger of Misfortunes

She had been waiting for a long while. Out of courtesy, she had presented herself to the scene first.

After some minutes, they finally arrived breathing from the bottom of their lungs.

Sykkuno: " Sorry we're late, Rae. *Camie( *Keimi) got lost on track.

Carmila ( Camie): " I- I didn't get lost. "

" Whatever , can we go now?"

Upon apposing her view on the two of them, she noticed the collide of both of their hands. 

" Camie, huh. You gave her a nickname?" 

Her gaze was directed right at them, however in a sense, she wasn't looking at them directly. 

The hands holding each other presented to her sight, in some way or another, it had been weighing on her mind.

Before they could notice, the fingers of her hand were reaching for the  assemblage that were their joined phalanxes.

She closed that open hand as soon as it showed in front of her.

" Do you mind if I walk in front?"

They seemed confused by the idea of someone walking in front of the other.

Sykkuno: " Why, Rae?" 

Camie: "  I do wonder too."

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

" You guys are right, it's a weird idea."

She postered a smile as to mask her growing feeling of discomfort.

They prepared to enter the movie theater, when he grabbed her arm.

Sykkuno: " Rae, you've been strange since yesterday. Are you ok? You can say it to me if you feel bad , I'll do the best I can to cheer you up. "

She looked to the right as he uttered those words. In her field of vision was Camie buying various kind of food.

She whispered some words he couldn't hear while she was getting back.

" You won't go away, right?"

She had said it so silently so that only herself could hear them.

Sykkuno: " What did you say, Rae?"

Once again, while Camie had came back with all the food. She put on a smile again.

Camie: " I've got the goods."

After entering the room with the big screen, the three of them sat in the same row.

She had naturally sat next to him, much to the disarray of the hyperactive girl, now placing at the far right.

She tapoted on her shoulder.

Camie: " Could we like,switch places? I want to sit next to my boyfriend."

The remark of the girl made her notice she placed herself perfectly between the two of them.

" My bad."

As the first hour of the movie was passing, she glanced at the both of them.

Camie had passed out. She was resting on his shoulder. However, he seemed to be completely absorbed in the movie .

She interpelled him.

" Hey."

As soon as he turned to answer the call, he noticed a painful display of expression in her face.

She moved one of Camie falling hair, her fingers lightly touching her cheek in the process. He could see frowning with a smile he had no other word than melancholic to describe it.

" You should take good care of her."

He was a little taken aback.

Sykkuno: " That's what I hope to do. She's a good girl, deep down."

He smiled as he pronounced it.

" You must really like her, huh."

As soon as she asked the next question, it was like time wasn't going anymore.

" What you said when Poki asked you, did you mean it?"

P.s: I put some music to accompany the scene. I may do it more often in the future.
