PARTING DAYS: Chapter B- Breaker of Promises

She was still in shock.  She didn't expect such a turn of events.

She remembered clearly the word he used to describe the stranger that had taken his place to provide her an answer.

He referred to the "lovely" personn as his girlfriend.

She started to wonder why he would ever date someone willing to throw his possessions. However, she put it on his niceness.

In a sense, she felt kind of betrayed that he didn't tell her sooner about the news.

She felt something from deep within her stomach. It was a rather discomfortable feeling.

"( Hm, that's weird)", she tought.

Snapping out of her toughts, she wondered if he would keep his promise. He had only one day of break left.

She waited for him to answer the invite, since he promised he would do it. If he wouldn't show up, she would probably not take it lightly.

She anticipated his response with excitement, nevertheless was met with a rather nerve wrecking answer.

              " Sorry, I can't. She wants to go somewhere today."

She took a deep breath as to calm down her mind and not lash out. 

She immediately started typing angrily.

" I didn't take you for a liar."

" What?!"

" Didn't you promise?" 

" Well, we can always report it."

She was getting pissed off by the minutes.

" You know, you could have said that you have something to do today!"

"..... I am sorry...."

" You're not the same."

" What?! What do you mean?"

" Ever since that girl entered your life, it's like you're not paying attention to what I have to say anymore."

" I-i assure you it's not like that."

" No,no,no,no. Don't start, you're the one who promised! Let me repeat your exact words, mister! You said " I promise". "

He couldn't really answer back to that.

" Maybe we can tomorrow?"

She did not appreciate the fact, that despite having said something, he tried shoving it away.

She prepared to write an "essay" about how he wasn't acting the same and how maybe his precious fated one may not be the bestest of influence.

However, she tought it was out of place to judge her like that before even meeting her.

She didn't want to hold back what she wanted to ask him however.

" I may have the wrong idea, but do spending time with me bores you now?"

It was like the question had hurt him physically.

" You're wrong! You know it would never bore me!"

She didn't seem to accept his answers.

" Why didn't you take a day for it,then?

It seemed like he couldn't answer the question in a logical way.

" You know what?!"

He sensed the angry comment coming a miles away.

" You go do whatever you're doing, I'll find someone to take your place."

It wasn't as aggressive as he tought it would have been.

It seemed like she was waiting for a specific answer to what she said.

" Well, time to go then."

Is what she was encountered with. She didn't appreciate how nonchalant it sounded.

It was the first time she felt he had been kind of distant to her. She was mad at him for not keeping up with his words but more so for the fact it almost seemed like he showed no interest in nurturing their bond.

And so as he went on to his promised date, another went on to remember the affront she faced of that day.
