PARTING DAYS-Chapter U: Ultimate Ennemy

She couldn't believe her eyes.

The man she once had eyes for was carrying by the arm a girl she had never seen before.

She noticed she had seen it before, upon closer inspection.

" ( You have some nerves showing yourself in front of me, you two.)"

She interpelled them.

Camie: " Attaboy!"

They turned their heads wondering who would say something of that nature to them. However, it made sense to them as quick as they saw who was standing behind them.

Rae: " Did you just say Attaboy?"

Her words sounded heavy.

Camie: " Oh, sorry, I didn't quite catch you there." 

" Stop bothering her, Carmila."

She placed her hand in front of her mouth in a mocking gesture.

Rae: " I'm gonna hit her."

" Please, calm down you two."

She cackled.

Camie: " Oh, sorry, I didn't take you for a softie . You didn't even falter when I broke th.... "

She noticed the new device in his hand. A surge of panic invaded her.

Camie: " W-who bought that for you?" 

Rae, replicating the earlier mocking smile: " I did. What are you gonna do about it ?"

Camie puffed her cheeks and started rambling.

Camie: " It's not fair. Why did it have to be her? Was I not good enough?"

They stared at her as if she was asking the question with the most evident answer either.

Rae and Sykkuno:  ( No, you weren't.)

They decided it'll be better to ignore her tantrums.  They started walking as fast as possible in the opposite direction from hers.

The more they walked, the more potent sound of feet hitting on ground could be heard behind them.

" Could you stop following us please?"

Rae: " Yeah, haven't you heard of personal space?"

She wasn't listening to them.

Camie: " Come on, come back to me. We both know you can do better than her. "

An intense fit of rage consumed Rae.

Rae: " Huh.What the fuck did you just say?"

He approached slowly Camie.

Rae: " Where....are you....going?"

She put her head down,thinking it would have a different outcome of what he was about to do.

He slapped Camie in the same place as before. 

He looked at her with serious intent.

" I already told you. Don't talk about her like that. You have no right to do so." 

Camie: " Fine,your loss! I'm moving out anyway!"

She ran as fast as she could.

He looked back at Rae.

She laughed.

Rae: " So, you would slap people for me?", she said while smiling warmly.

" S-she said mean things about you! I had to!"

She appended herself to his back.

Rae: " Thank you."

Eventually, they continued enjoying themselves on their day until the moon had finally showed her face.
It was time for them to part ways, however it wouldn't be in a negative light this time.

Before entering her train, she talked to him.

Rae: " It was fun. Except that one part but let's forget about it. I....."

Her eyes turned to the right.

" Yes?"

The train ligh flashed right on her face, illuminating her face and making her smile even more so radiating to him.

Rae: " I wouldn't mind doing it again."

The comment had made him turn red.

" Y-yeah. Sure...."

She waved to him as the doors closed
on her.

" ( I wouldn't mind either), he tought."
