He was still looking at the picture.

In a sense, he was regretting the decisions that had left him in his current predicament.

Hitting sound could be heard of the door.

Camie: " I'm sorry about what I said. Please can you let me enter?!"

It was probably the first time in her life she felt this cornered. She hit more intensely.

However, it was to no effect. He was drown in what was in front of his eyes .

Her pained expression directed at the two of them was too much to handle. He couldn't bear to see her face harbour such bad feelings.

After all, she was his first love. He couldn't bear himself to tell her cause of fear.

In a sense, he was scared those feelings would frighten her but the sight of the picture made him think the contrary.

" How could I have forgot, he tought."

Flashes of her smile appeared to his mind, as the knocking sounds were getting heavier.

He didn't think much of it at the time, but he realised he probably accepted Camie proposition to please her. To whom were the feeling he reserved for her were really directed, he asked himself.

After all, he didn't stop looking at his "first love" for a single time when they were in the theater.

The feeling had never disappeared, it only grew stronger as he tried putting Camie's feeling first and suppressing his, for her sake.

However, the moment she showed her true colours, he realized that he should have considered his own feelings.

He opened the door.

Camie: " Ah, you finally opened the door. I've been calling you for a while."

She was taken aback by the serene look on his face.

Camie: " Looks like ....you're doing ....fine?..."

She had traces of tears on her face.

He addressed her.

" Camie....No,Carmila."

She was miscontent with the way he had referred to her.

Camie: " Why did you go back to Carmila?"

He placed both of his hands on her shoulders.

" I'm sorry."

For the first time in her life, the monster that was supposed to not feel emotion felt bad.

She tried ignoring the obvious sentence that was guaranteed to come.

Camie: " W-why are you apologising?"

" I was wrong, you're not the one I like. I tought it would made you happy if I said yes."

Her whole world had stopped.

The one who had once never even expressed emotions, aside from fabricated one was now feeling sadness.

It wasn't one she could wear as a mask. She had always tought emotions were nothing but mask people put on.
In an ironic turn of events, she was actually experiencing a mix of multiple of them at that exact moment.

Camie: " I-it's her! She must have brainwashed you!"

Having come back to his senses, he could now realise that was the way she saw her.

" I already told you to not talk about her like that."

Camie: " No! I am right! I should have make you get rid of her when I had the occasion."

His hand moved naturally back and forth. She felt something hit her cheek.

" It's over. Don't show yourself ever again there."

Camie: " Did you slap me?"

She  rubbed the cheek with the fresh mark.

" You have no right to say these vile things about her. If you dare say it again, I will do it again."

Camie: " Fine!!!!"

She said clacking the door the most violently her strength permitted her before leaving.

However, has long as he had that phone, he would always be reminded of that personn next door.

He wondered if he should buy a new one but had to make a call before that.

Sidenote: Camies in the world continue to be bullied to this day....

I'm joking XD
