Raekkuno one shots

PARTING DAYS- Chapter M: "May you sleep well"

She showed up late.

She unlocked the door, while reminding herself of the conversation that unfolded.

It was already late at night. She settled to go back to her room.

After all , tomorrow would be a new day. That's how she saw it.

She took a bath, brushed her teeth and put on her pajamas. Wrapping herself up blue coloured sheets.

She constantly moved. Right, Left, Right, Left. She couldn't find sleep.

At that exact moment a sudden realisation came to her.

" He's waiting for me!", she exclaimed rapidly moving her back up from the bed.

She put her messy hair back in place and put on her shoes.

At last, she opened the door to direct to the room directly located next to hers.

Thankfully for her, the door was still open.

Her messy figure appeared to him. He noticed the clothes she had put on.

Sykkuno:" You didn't call me when you came back?"

She scratched her hair, not being able to find a convincing excuse.

" Well,you know. It kind of slipped of my mind."

He wondered if she was serious when she said that.

Her stomach growled. In her haste, she had forgot to eat before laying down.

" ......"

" Looks like someone's hungry."

He pointed out to a plate on the table.

Sykkuno:" Your share."

She sat down. The food had turned cold in her wait. Like summer turn to winter, maybe it was the foreshadowing of an incoming change waiting to happen.

" Why is it cold?", she said.

Sykkuno: " You've been outside for a while. I was starting to wonder at some point if you were ever gonna come back. Please tell me you'll be late next time."

" Ah. Sorry about that"

She started slowly eating what she had been offered. 

The next thing he said stopped her from eating more of her portion.

Sykkuno: " So, what did you think of Rae?"

Her so far neutral expression turned into a grimace.

Sykkuno: " Why are you doing faces?"

He was waiting excitedly for her answer. She tried brushing off the faces.  She put the smile back on.

" What faces? Everything is fine."

It happened sometimes. When something had went wrong in her mind, she often showed him this other side of her personality.  In a sense, it was the true "her". The one he had a glimpse of on their first encounter when she stopped to watch at a jewel shop.

He could feel something wasn't right.

He looked at her with serious intent.

Sykkuno: " Did you say something bad to her?"

It was the first time ever she ever saw that kind of look on his face. It was a threat ready to be fired.

" I didn't ( at least I think). It be better if we stayed away from each other, tough."

It was his turn to slam both of his hands on the table.

Sykkuno: " What did you do?!"

Her eyes opened wide trough the sheer amount of shock the fact he screamed at her provided.
