PARTING DAYS- Chapter S: So, which kind of flavour do you want?

The both of them had agreed to meet up . 

They were now standing in front the massive city, ready to go on their little trip.

Rae: " Do you think I'm captivating today as well?"

She tapoted his side with her elbow.

" S-stop teasing me. Plus, you always look good anyway."

The sentence had caused her to stop walking.

Rae: " S-stupid!", she said as the reddening of her cheeks became prevalent. 

" Did I say something bad?"

She gently placed her closed hand towards his chest.

Rae: " No, you didn't. Have confidence in yourself"

He looked at her confused.

"  What did you say I am stupid then?"

She sighed, not wanting to explain.

Rae: " Just so you know, you're only at 3/10 points of the apology score."

" Why is it an evaluated test?!

Rae: " That's what you get for treating me like fodder. Be glad I'm willing to forgive you."

" Fine."

Melodious sounds could be heard in the distance.

" Do you wanna go see a movie or something later?"

Rae: " Did you just say movie? Where is she?! "

She put her guard on.

He attempted to calm her down.

" Don't worry , she's not here. Relax. "

It seemed the word " movie" had reawakened bad memories.

The melodious sounds were getting closer and closer .  She pointed at the massive white construct that was approaching.

Rae: " Look, ice cream truck. Wich flavour would you like? I could get us 2  cones."

He wasn't really in the mood for ice cream but didn't want to refuse the offer.

" I can pay mine myself."

Rae: " You don't have to worry about it, it's fine."

" No,no, I'll pay for both of us. You don't have to"

Rae: " Oh come on, I already told you I'll do."

They stared at each other before trying to rapidly withdraw money from their wallet.

" I'm first!", she said as in the precipitation, the wallet falled on the floor.

She immediately tried to pick it up until another hand reached at the same time. It was his hand.

Both of their fingers joined at that instance .

Rae: " Aaahhh!" 

It didn't seem to bother him. He picked up the object and presented it to her with his other hand. 

Rae: " Ah. Thanks. "

" Cherry flavour", he said nonchalant

The current situation made her forget about the truck.

Rae: " Who's cherry flavoured?!"

He laughed at that response. He then proceeded to present to her the entanglement of their hand.

" Do you plan to leave your hand in there?"

The both of them became embarrassed, until her eyes denoted an angry expression.

Rae: " And what if I did?!"

" I wouldn't mind."

Rae: " I'll take mint chocolate chip", she said shyly.
