PARTING DAYS- Chapter A: A departure

A sweating figure, an heavy breathing. He had just closed his stream, feeling heavy from the pressure.

He had been showing up for all the month, nonstop, without catching a break.

It was the first time he ever felt like he couldn't continue, he wondered if it was a good idea to show up tomorrow.

" ( Maybe a break would be a good idea)", he tought to himself.

"( But I don't wanna)', he continued trough his train of toughts.

He continued thinking back and forth about leaving for a short period of time.

And so, the next day came as he took his decision.

- The next day-

She had noticed something unusual. Scrolling down through her Twitter feed, she could see a post she didn't expect in the slightest.

                " I'm taking a break. I'll see you guys in probably a month"

She tought it was quite unusual for him to take breaks, especially that long. She messaged him to see if everything was ok.

No response.

She had to wait for a long moment before receiving a response.

                  " S-sorry, I just opened my Twitter. I-I just felt like the stress had built a little too much." -S

      " Well, take all the time you need then", she responded understanding.

" Are you down for some Valorant later?"  -R

" L-like, on stream?" -S

" Nah, ya donkey, didn't you just said you were on break?"-R

" I guess that makes sense. Offstream then?" -S

" Yeah. You down?" -R

His response to her proposition surprised her a bit.

" N-no, don't really want to..." -S

" Really? Well, ok then." -R

" Hmmm...." -S

" What?" -R

" N-nevermind. I don't think it's that important." -S

" Ok?....." -R

He immediately disconnected.

She didn't tought much of it, so glossed it over.

However, as the day were passing, he noticed his behaviour towards her was become more and more cold.

Each time she invited him to play the first week of this break, he would decline. It wasn't really in his habit to always decline her offers, wich made her question what he was up to. 

Even so, she still tried another time.

" Sykkuno! I've found a cool new game we could try with the others." -R

" Really, sounds great...." -S

" Seems like a sarcastic ass comment."-R

" I would never...You know me, right...."-S

" In a sense,yeah but not really....." -R

" Well....I would love to but I'm k-kind of busy." -S

" Busy? What are you doing exactly?"-R

" ..................Can't tell you that." -S

" You're being weird." -R
