THE AMNESIA CHAPTER ( Miracle)

One week later

*Knock Knock*

Sound of hitting on wood could be heard from his room. He found it odd, he wasn't really expecting visitors.

Slowly but surely, he walked to the door. 

He made sure to look trough the peep hole to confirm it wasn't any ill intent individual.

" I know you're here, open, please."

He recognize the voice and the silhouette that was slowly forming into his view.

" Oh,it's you", he said in a cold tone.

He unlocked the lock, allowing the visitor to enter.  He offered her to seat, wich she accepted.

" I'm gonna check what's in the fridge if you ever want something."

" Please, don't!", she said, reacting to the statement.

" Huh? Hm, ok." 

He sat on the same sofa.

" So, why do you know where I live, hm, what was it again. Oh yeah, Rae or something like that."

Rae: " Well, you told me."

" Really? I tought I only told that to my friends..."

He noticed a sinister expression on her face.

Rae: " You're being insufferable righ now!"

" S-sorry, I didn't mean it like that. "

She hold a strong grip on the sheets of the sofa.

Rae: " I wanna go back", she muttered to herself

"What? I didn't catch that."

Looking in front of her, not knowing exactly what to do, she noticed some kind of long object near the TV. She pointed to it.

Rae: " Where did you get that? I didn't know you played that sport"

" What are you talking abou...."

He somehow stopped once the object catched his sight.

" WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT!"

He raised his voice. It was the first time she ever saw him get that concerned and mad. Even so, it didn't seem like an anger that was born from madness but rather embarrassment.

Rae: " Why are you screaming all of a sudden? It's just a bat."

He didn't remember where it came from. The more he looked at it, the more he felt like he was missing some context. 

" I-I don't know. It just came naturally."

Rae: " Ok......Anyway, I don't think I can play with you anymore. That's what I came here to told you."

Even trough his current predicament, this comment still stang. Even so, he couldn't really begin to understand the reason why.

" Did you really have to take the time to plan a trip here to tell me that?"

Rae: " I guess you really forgot, huh."

She didn't expect him to answer in that way.  She was more so on the side of expecting to panick and start stuttering, while asking her why would she do something like that.

However, nothing other than that uncalled for question ever came out.

Rae: " I felt I should tell you personally. "

While she was walking towards the door, the bat drew his attention a second time.

Suddenly, his heart rate increased drastically. The sight of seeing that personn he didn't really know right now combined with the view of this object that caused him to completely change behaviour, made him feel incredibly bad.

He hastily reached for her arm.

" W-wait."

It took her by surprise.

Rae: " What is it?"

" I don't know, It's just I kind of don't want you to go. I don't know why?"

Her stern expression slowly turned into a smile. She quickly hid it.

Rae: " R-really?"

" I don't really get it, but I don't ever want to see you go."

She felt compelled by his words.

Rae: " Well, I can stay a little longer."

An awkward silence started.

Rae: " Can you stop grabbing my arm, tough?"

" Ah, sorry. Maybe while you sit and relax, I can offer you a snack? "

Rae: " Is it some kind of instant food per any chance?"

" Well, nevermind. How about a drink?"

She laughed.

" What's funny ?"

Rae: " Well, I just tought that maybe we're getting you back piece by piece."

" Do you think I'm some kind of puzzle or something?"

Rae: " That kind of remark proves my point."

He continued his search for a beverage.

Curious about that bat, she took a closer look to it . She noticed a name on it.

Rae: " SYKKUNO!", she shouted.

He made a quick run to the main room.

" What?"

She was holding the item in her hands.

Rae: " Care to explain where this came from?"

He tought he had seen this expression on her face somewhere before, some kind of " who-the-hell-idea-was-it" face.

Rae: " Are you the one who put my name here?" 

" I told you. I have no idea where I got that, Rae."

Her eyes glittered. It was the first time it felt natural so far when he said her name.
