His break was finally over. He didn't expect it in the slightest but he went out of it with a lover.

He opened up Valorant, he hadn't played a single time during his pause. She had taken all of his time but he appreciated the moment he spent with her.

He received an invitation from Toast to join the party.

Someone else had sent him an invite. It was Carmila. He asked her in the game  chat  how did she knew he had planned to play that game.  Wich she responded that she was watching.

He proposed her to join the group he was invited in. She accepted to his surprise.

They both joined the call.

" Hey, I found someone for the fifth spot."

Toast:" And who's that?"

Someone had been awfully silent.

" Well, how to explain. She's...."

She Interjected.

Carmila:" Why are you hesitating to say it? We're dating."

Toast:" Dating as in dates?"

" Yes, what's the matter with that?"

Corpse:" Woah, first I heard of it. Why didn't u tell us?"

" I tought Rae did."

" Rae?"

They noticed she hadn't said anything for a while.

She finally uttered some words.

Rae:" Oh, it's this guy. "

They could all notice the rather unenergetic tone in her voice.

" What?!"

" I haven't heard from you in a while. Then again, you probably didn't hear me for a long time either."

He wondered where she was trying to get to.

" Have I missed something?"

Rae: " Sorry, I'm kinda out of it."

Carmila:" What's the matter with her?"

" Rae, are you good?"

It seemed the fact he didn't keep his promise coupled with how he didn't try to reach out to her had somewhat affected her. 

She suddenly screamed out loud, so loud even that even her roommates could hear her.

" WHY DON'T YOU PLAY WITH ME!?"

The statement confused him. 

" Hum..."

" Hum..."

" Don't we play a lot of things together?"

The confusion had risen within the rank. 

She provided no answer to his interpelation. She was basically ignoring him.

Toast:" We can't be a team if we cannot communicate. "
