MELODRAMATIC BEVERAGE (5/6): NEGATIVE FEELING

Sidenote: I realised midway that I put more part than intended, so I changed the number of part to the number it was supposed to be.

The flashback continued.

Sykkuno: " I don't believe in that kind of thing. "

Lily: " You're no fun."

Then,after this brief interaction, the events gradually led to the current situation in the flashback.

She asked.

" So basically, you're this thing she talked about. You're a manifestation of negative feeling."

" Correct."

" How does that pertain in anyway in the fact that I want to bring him back?"

" I already showed you. If you want to get rid of me, you only have to get rid of his negative feeling."

" And what would be troubling him?"

" You still don't understand, even tough I showed you?"

" Basically, If I had to put it in words it would be like: Would she likes it? Would it be enough? What if she doesn't? "

" I see."

" So, basically, by accumulating worry and bad feelings, I came to be. The others hadn't that much of it, so I couldn't possess them. "

" I told him several times that you don't have to feel bad for giving a gift to someone. Besides , the personn who decide if they like it or not is the receiver, not the gifter. "

" Humans get worried over the smallest thing, that's what make them so easy to tease. However, it'll be too easy if it was just that."

" What more could there be?" 

" The third word."

" You mean that obvious one? Considering all our talk until now, it's pretty obvious it's feelings."

" Well, yeah. It is the focal point of his worry after all."

He snapped his fingers, the blue smoke appeared again to display pictures.

- February 2nd-

Sykkuno was sitting in his room, in front of his desk.  The monitor light his computer lighting his eyes.

To the two who were watching the display of the smoke, something felt embarrassing .

On the screen of the device, they could clearly see what he had typed in the search bar.

Rae rolled her eyes in disbelief of the name of the search.

- How to confess to someone?-, where the words they could clearly see on the computer.

" I didn't know he liked someone" , Rae said, watching the memory unfold on the smoke.

The creature, possessing the body they were seeing, knew exactly what he was thinking at that moment, since it had access to all his toughts.

He snapped the devilish fingers again and made the scene disappear.

" I didn't show you the first display for nothing. I tought that would make " his mind" more worried so that it would weaken it so I could assume full possession but the fact you didnt understand lessened it."

" Make him worried ? ..... Wait, do you mean ?...."

" It's not my body but I refuse to acknowledge such embarrassment ."

" Wait ?! That worry is because of me?! "

She replayed the first flashback in her mind. She recalled having heard him say that he would rather spend time with her than go on dates.

Her eyes opened in shock

" So, basically, you're worried about how I would answer?"

This question made the smoke disappear and the room return to normal.  His eyes turned back to normal .

In the first place, she just had to ask something only him could answer to get him back. That was the stalemate the creature tried to avoid. The creature could answer logical questions but none that came from heart.

Sykkuno: " Huh, Rae, when did you come here and why are we having coffee right now? I mean, it's almost midnight."

He noticed the cup in front of her.

Sykkuno: " Why do you have that? Did I already gave it to you? My head is fuzzy."

Rae: " Yeah, let's roll with that. That was weird anyway."

She looked at if she was waiting for him to say something.

Sykkuno: " Hm, what is it?"

Rae: " You have something to tell me don't you?"
