"Don't give up here, Tommie." Nightmare said quietly, helping the teenager up. "Just a little bit farther, there's a nice clearing that I found, you can stay there."

Tommie shook his head, "I can't keep walking.."

"Come on, you're so close."

Tommie took a deep, shaky breath before starting to trudge forwards.

"That's the spirit!" Nightmare cheered him on, following him.

They walk for what felt like several hours, but it was probably only a couple minutes. Nightmare led Tommie through a wooded area and on the other side was an open field.

"Here we are." He announced. Tommie examined the area before collapsing on the ground. Nightmare stared at him, unsure of what to do. "Uh.. Well, have fun, I'll be back tomorrow."

Tommie didn't say anything, he watched the sky slowly go dark as the sun set. He started to think about what Tobie was doing.

Tobie was so angry at him for giving in so easily but, he had no other choice. He knew that if Tobie were there, he'd yell at Tommie to stop putting others over himself.

"Some people aren't worth it!" He would've said. Tommie didn't agree. Tobie was his best friend, and if he ever lost him, nothing would have meaning anymore.

"Are you okay?" A voice asked Tommie, and his eyes widened.

Quickly sitting up, ignoring how tired he was, "Will!" He exclaimed, "Will, you're..." He trailed off, getting a good look at his brother.

He tried to reach out to make sure Will was actually there, but he moved out of the way, "Don't touch me!" He glared.

"Will.. what happened to you?"

"Well what do you think?! I was stabbed, wasn't I?" Will raised his voice slightly.

"But how- how are you.. here?" Tommie asked.

Will glanced back at a tree, "Someone left me there."

"You mean.. you were buried here? Did Electro take you?"

"I don't know who that is. You ask a lot of questions."

"Well.. I'm just confused."

Will shrugged, "Whatever. You angry? Here, take this." Will quickly said before dropping a squishy and clear object into Tommie's hands.

"What's this?" He cringed a little after giving it a little squish, it felt really gross.

"Red."

"But it's not red."

Will sat up, looking Tommie in the eyes, "Think about something that makes you mad."

"Um... A lamppost?" Tommie tilted his head.

"What—No, something that actually makes you angry." Will shook his head.

"Um... I guess.. Tobie yelling at me today.. and.. How he always says put others above yourself but he does the same!" Tommie gasped quietly, "And he didn't consider my feelings today and... He betrayed us and-"

Tommie yelped, as the clear object started to turn red. Will raised an eyebrow, "You don't like Tobie."

"I do!" Tommie quickly defended himself, "But he does things that.. I don't agree with."

Will shrugged, passing more 'red' to Tommie. "I can't remember much of what happened.."

Tommie tilted his head, glancing at Will. "Do you... remember me?"

"I remember... you cheering with everyone," Tommie smiled hopefully but it faded when Will scowled into the distance. "Phil went to you... He always liked you the best.."

Tommie looked away, thinking. He never really noticed if that was true. "What did he say to you?"

"He said... He yelled at me to stop coming up with excuses... and then.. and then it was all over." Will glared, "Phil... He never listened to what I had to say! And then when the time came, he got rid of me."

"But.. You've had nice moments with him, didn't you?"

"If I did.. there wasn't many."

Will gripped onto his red, he was squeezing it so hard, Tommie was worried it was going to break. But then Will sighed and threw it into the distance.

"I'm sorry, Will. I should've done something." Tommie sighed.

Will was quiet, thinking. Tommie was just a kid, a dumb kid but... "I'm going to sit by the tree." He said, getting up and walking away.

Tommie watched Will go, and then looked up at the sky. Everything that Will was talking about... It seemed all over the place, like he was having multiple thoughts at the same time.

He sighed quietly, laying down in the grass and drifting off into sleep.

Will sat by the tree he was buried under, running his fingers along the words carved into the bark. Tommie mentioned someone named Electro.

He hummed quietly. He'll go find Electro soon, and thank him. He seemed nice.
