The Stars Are Beautiful From Here

19th part and 19 is my favourite number 🙃
Something short because I'm bored on a car ride

It was all just one freak accident. Sapnap was fucking around near a cliff with two friends of his, Karl and Quackity.

Sapnap got a little too close to the edge and a couple of loose rocks couldn't support his weight.

As he slipped, he reached out for the edge to catch himself, but couldn't hold on. He could hear his friend shout his name and suddenly he was submerged in water.

As soon as he hit the water, his whole body stung and it was freezing. He opened his eyes and looked up. It was oddly calm. He couldn't hear anything aside from the sounds of water, and he could see the night sky.

All the stars twinkled, and the ripples of the water distorted them, making it look like the sky was dancing. It was beautiful.

A smile spread across his face at the sight. He soon became aware of his situation and then the panic set in, he struggled to swim back up to the surface and, after holding his breath for so long, he tried to inhale.

Water immediately flooded into his lungs and he tried to cough, causing him to inhale more water.

A hand reached for him, grabbing him by the shirt sleeve and pulled him out. Sapnap fell into a coughing fit, shivering and wheezing.

"Holy shit, are you okay?" Quackity asked.

Sapnap nodded slowly, still recovering from trying to breathe underwater. When he was good enough to speak, he let out a groan. "Shit, that was..." He started laughing, nervously, "That was freaky."
