Roan's POV

OKAY! This is terrible. Abu has been talking to Ate KC like.... Like forever? And I can already feel Ate Kendra's discomfort. Paano ba naman kasi, parang ginigisa sa interview si Ate at ewan ko ba kung saan nanggagaling ang mga tanong ni Abu.

"So KC, what are your plans for the future? I mean, hindi ka naman maglalagi dito sa Pilipinas since nasa abroad ang buhay mo. But it would be great if you decided to stay here for good." Sabi ni Lola.

"Uhm.. I'll be returning to London at the end of May." Sagot ni Ate KC. "My contract with ABS has ended and I have no intention to renew."

"Oh! That soon? Two weeks na lang aalis ka na?" Tila hindi makapaniwalang sabi ni Lola. "Lea, tawagin mo nga si Cassie at sabihing dalian niya ang pagpunta dito para naman magkakilala sila ni Kendra." Suhestyon ni Abu.

Nagkatinginan kami ni kambal. We are so busy hiding the truth from everyone pero itong si Abu gusto nang ipangalandakan ang tungkol sa Ate namin. Buti na lang si Ate KC ang kausap. Kung iba siguro, naku! Pagpipyestahan na kami ng media.

"Ma, hindi ganoon kadali iyon." Mom answered while feeding Mireya and Athrun. "Maraming pinagkakaabalahan si Cassie. Remember I told you that she has a business  venture in Australia? And she also has a husband to consider. Baka mamaya magalit pa iyong asawa niya kapag nagmadali siyang pumunta dito."

"Okay, but tell her to make it quick." Giit pa rin ni Abu.

Mommy looked at Ate Kendra, "You'll only doing one season? Why not do another one. People seemed to like the chemistry between us on set. And besides, the ratings skyrocketed when you joined."

"I wasn't aware of the rating and or the impacts of my presence, I'm not actually interested on that but it's good to hear that the audience loved it." Came Ate's reply.

At this moment, biglang tumunog ang cellphone ni Mommy na nakapatong sa counter. Rohan was quick to grab it since siya ang pinakamalapit.

"Mom, new number." Sabi ni Rohan at saka iniabot kay Mommy. Napakunot naman ng noo si Mom kasi bihira ang may tumawag na new number sa private line ni mommy. I thought she'll gonna ignore it pero taliwas ang ginawa ni mommy. She answered it.

She was silent after the first hello. Then biglang napatayo. "You're already here?"

Tumigil kaming lahat sa pagkain at tahimik na hinintay matapos ang call. "Okay, we'll fetch you at the airport."

Nanlaki ang mata ko pagkarinig sa airport maging si Rohan at Dad ay halatang nabigla rin. Kung tama ang hinala namin, si Ate Cassie na ang tumatawag at kung tama rin ang pagkatahi tahi ko, andito na siya sa Pilipinas.

Yay! Exciting.

Everyone scrambled on their feet aside from these three, Mireya who is as oblivious as Athrun. And there's Ate KC. Nakayuko lang at patuloy sa pagkain.

"Ma, can you stay here to watch over Mireya and Athrun? Please?" Mom said to Abu. The latter seemed unpleased by this suggestion. Mas mukhang excited pa nga kasi si Abu kaysa kay Mommy e.

"I volunteer." Ate KC said suddenly. All eyes fell on her.

"Are you sure, KC? We can just bring the kids." Sabi naman ni Daddy.

"Yes, I'm sure. Go on. Be on your way. It'll take at least two hours to get there if you leave now." She said casually.

"I'll stay with Ate KC." Sabi ko. Don't get me wrong, excited din ako na makita in person si Ate Cassie but it wouldn't be fair if maiiwan so Ate KC na para bang babysitter. No. I can't have that. Besides, the twins are quite a handful. Baka hindi umubra ang pagiging cold and stern ni Ate KC sa dalawang nakababata naming kapatid.
