Roan's POV

This is already fourth day since our parents left when I suddenly realized that I left something in my room (sa New York).

"Oh my gosh!" I exclaimed which caught Rohan's attention.

"What is it?"

"My journal." I answered.

"What journal?"

"A diary. It is where I wrote the important details and events that happened during our stay in the States."

"So what if you left it? You could ask mom to get it for you." He said nonchalantly and went back to reading his textbook.

"You don't understand. I don't want mom to find it." I said almost hysterically.

He put his book down again.

"Will you calm down? What is so scandalous about this journal anyway that you are acting like this?" He is getting irritated at my outburst.

"Like I've said. It is the detailed account of what me and dad had been through the year we left for New York. And I don't want mom to find it because she'll be upset."

"That bad?" He asked looking a bit concern.

I nodded.

"Then we better inform dad. I'm sure he will help us keep that from mom." He suggested.

I groaned.

I don't want dad to find it either. Kapag nakita niya yun, siguradong babasahin niya.

"Kambal..." I trailed off waiting for his reaction.

"Oh no, don't tell me you wrote bad words too." He said playfully.

I wrung my hands nervously.

"Well, not exactly."

Rohan gave me a scrutinizing gaze.

"Do explain."

"I guess my choice of words in that journal will make dad so pitiful in mom's eyes."

Rohan frowned. "Nothing can make Dad look pitiful. Most people envies him. And most men wants to be him."

I stayed silent. He is right but not entirely.

"Did something happened to Dad that year?"

"Yes."

I slumped on the floor when those painful memories come rushing to my head.

I can still remember vividly how his world shattered into pieces when Mom asked him for an annulment.

Oh yes, she did. I remember dad talking to her about the separation. Dad said he doesn't want for us to have a broken family.

And he kept saying sorry to her even after she hangs up.

He shut the world out, including me and that hurts a lot because I am hurting too at that time.

"Dad became workaholic."

"Typical." Rohan said. "I would have to if it means forgetting the one you love most even just for a few hours."

"And he drinks too. Well, not to the point to being a drunkard."

"Come on, Kambal. Common knowledge naman na umiinom si daddy. At saka natural na yun." -Rohan.

"Of course, I know that. But there are also times na nalalasing siya and he was taken advantage by those women around him."

This time, it's Rohan's turn to gape.

"You're kidding, right?"

"I'm not really sure. But I saw Tita Charlene undressing him one night in our living room."

"What?! I thought that was just a lie."

"It's the truth and I've written the whole details in that journal."

Rohan exhaled loudly and got up to his feet and pace the floor back and forth.

"Alright, did something happen between them?"

"Nothing." I answered.

Totoo namang walang nangyari. Pero malay mo sa ibang pagkakataon, diba? Pero I know naman na kapag hindi lasing si dad, hinding hindi siya titingin sa iba.

Rohan let out a sigh of relief.

Lea's POV

When we finally got back, I decided to explore Roan's room.

I smiled when I saw the wallpaper, temang disney kasi ang design.

A typical teenager's room. Messy yet not that disorganized.

Nilapitan ko ang kanyang built-in book shelves at ang kanyang book collection consist of classical novels and architectural books.

Something caught my eye, at the left portion, may nakaipit na isang leather book.

I reached out for it and opened it.

That's when I realized that it is a diary.

Roan's Diary.
