It's been a while since you and Charlotte had seen each other. Because of the traveling restrictions you couldn't fly to Europe. Watching the old photos made in your childhood you smiled while closing you eyes and thinking back to the days where you and your best friend Charlotte spent every day together. She was your classmate, neighbor, best friend and much more. As your fathers were business partners but also friends, you got to know each other very early. She's one of the most beautiful and trustworthy humans you know. A few months ago she called you and told you that she met Charles Leclerc, a F1 driver, in his hometown Monaco. She was that nervous about it because she admired him a lot. She told you that he talked a bit with her, not much but she went crazy of happiness. You were absolutely happy for her and when she called again just a few minutes later, telling you that he was now following her on Instagram, you were sure that this didn't just happen coincidentally.

And you were right. He wrote her and they got to know each other until he asked her if they would like to go to the cinema together. You were the first person to know and you had to tell her what she should wear and stuff like that. You loved to see Charlotte that happy as you two had a bond like you would be sisters. It didn't come as a surprise for you when she called you in tears of happiness that she was now the girlfriend of Charles. She always said "no, I would never date one of these crazy drivers" but now she did!

A few weeks later, Charlotte and you met on FaceTime and she asked you to visit her and Charles in Monaco. Covid-19 wasn't a topic back then so you agreed, really looking forward to it. Charles, who had come home from running, also said hello to you and asked you some questions and you did the same. He looked pretty attractive and was a really down to earth person as you could judge from talking to him the first time. As you congratulated him for the win in Italy, his face got red like a tomato. You really had to laugh a lot. He told you that he would always take care of Charlotte and you smiled at him, telling him that you were sure about it. After some visits, you really got friends with Charles, too. You looked up to him, not because you had a crush at him (like amost every girl watching F1) him or whatever. It was because he as a person impressed you a lot. After loosing three of the most important people in his life, he always kept going on with his life.

Then Covid-19 appeared. You couldn't visit your best friend and you were living on the other side of the world. It really made you sad, onky being able to see Charlotte or your parents on the screen. You really cursed to be at an American university. It took one year until you could finally visit Charlotte and Charles again and that moment would stay in your find forever. Charles took a photo in exactly the right second and this photo was now hanging over your bed, too. Charlotte and you, smiling and laughing as you were the happiest women on earth in this moment.
