* Like all of you I don't know how Michael's recovery process is going on. All the things I write in that story are just speculations that are adapted to my storyline. *

[Flashback: 'Now that I've met your parents, would you like to meet mine, too?' He smiled, kissed you again and told you that he would really like to.]

You called your parents, telling them that you would visit them together with Mick next weekend. They couldn't wait to get to know him and sent you lovely greetings to the Schumacher family. Mick and you decided to go downstairs to eat lunch because Corinna had cooked for the whole family. The little nervousness you had while walking down the stairs was again blown away as you saw Gina playing with her dog and Corinna and Michael holding hands as they sat at the table. You smiled at Mick as you saw them so happy together and he smiled back to you.

While Mick sat down next to his father, you followed Mick's mother into the kitchen to help her a little bit. 'Hey (Y/N) nice to see you again! How did you sleep?' she asked you while she was cutting vegetables. 'I had a very good sleep, thanks. I really have to say thank you for treating me so warmly and kind. I really feel like home! And I'm so happy for you because of yesterday. I couldn't believe it.' She smiled as she recalled yesterday evening. 'Yeah, I couldn't believe what I heard, too! You know I never ever would have given him up but to know that he understands everything what's going on and that he's slowly coming back makes it so much easier to deal with that situation. And I have to admit you handled it brilliantly! The fact that he decided to hug you was a great step forward in his movements. And I think you might have been the key for what happened yesterday. Because I think that he understood because of your normal reaction seeing him that he isn't weird or something and dared to try if he could communicate then. I'm really happy you're on Mick's side now. You're a great young lady with a big heart and a great behavior. And you're always welcome here, even if Mick isn't here because of a race. Just call me that I know you plan to come.' You recognized she looked absolutely happy and your eyes became watery again because of her kind compliments.

You decided to go back to the other family members and had lunch with them. You spent three more days with you boyfriend before you prepared to visit your parents together with him. You packed your clothes into the suitcase and brought them to the car. You said goodbye to Gina and then walked towards Corinna to say goodbye to her, too. She said she looked forward to seeing you again and then you bent down a bit you hug her husband. The hug was already a bit tighter then the last one and he whispered 'See you again' what caused some tears in your eyes. You smiled and answered 'Thank you so much! I am so grateful'. Mick said goodbye to his family, too and you drove a few hours to your parents' house. It was a sunny day and you had a funny conversation in the car about what colour his raceboots should have next season because you weren't happy about only black ones. Mick's behavior chanced a bit since he saw that his family and his father were alright. He was more positive and happy and even a bit crazy. But you liked that. Maybe he also tried to hide his nervousness with behaving extra cool but he would of course never admit that.

As you stopped in front of your parents house you could also see your parents standing in front of the door. You got out of the car and hugged them and got a kiss on the cheek from your dad because you didn't see them really often as you lived some hours away from them in your own apartment. Mick watched the scene and walked towards your parents, hugging your mum and then hand-shaking with your dad. 'Mick, nice to meet you! I'm Peter and this is my wife Lisa.' your dad said as you walked into the house. The atmosphere was relaxed and you have never heard your father talking that much before as was either a silent person. But he enjoyed it to have another man in the house. You ate some cake and told your mum how Mick and you met und they asked him about his racing career as they of course knew he was a racing driver. But they avoided to ask him about his dad as they of course didn't know about his health status. As Mick went to the toilet, your father asked 'Is it okay for Mick if I ask him if he can remember the Ferrari era of his dad? Because I don't want to cause any sadness to remind him to his father.' Mick already walked back to the table and you were not sure about how much of this conversation he heared. But your dad just asked him directly if it was okay to talk about that and Mick agreed with a smile on his face. 'Peter it's absolutely okay if you want to know that. I mean the recovery of my dad is a private thing but why shouldn't I talk about his career? You don't have to avoid that topic it's okay for me. And yes I can still remember watching the fastest car on track, the red one, that was first most of the time.' He grinned and your dad started kind of motorsport conversation with Mick and you could just roll your eyes and laugh a bit.

In the evening you said goodbye and they told Mick to send greetings to his family. Mick drove you home and you had a conversation about motorsport and about his dad, too. You felt that it's easier for him to talk about him now as he knew his father understands what's going on. He hoped that one day his dad will be able to accompany him again to races and you were sure about that. Mick spent the night with you in your apartment as it was already after midnight as you arrived and you both were very happy that you've found each other.
