Delta airlines cannot beat me (Oneshot)

So I'm writing this while in school, it's pretty fucking awful NGL. Don't know if I'll publish this while in school so :/

"I have good news and bad news." Dream announced.

"Tell us the good news!" Grian cheered, bouncing up and throwing his arms in the air before Techno could respond.

"Alright, we're going on a holiday!" Dream shouted excitedly, throwing his mask to one side.

Techno perked up at this. They hadn't had a holiday in ages.

"And the bad news?" He asked cautiously.

"Well, Techno my dear, we're taking Delta airlines." Dream confessed.

Oh. Oh.

"YEEEEEEEEEES" Grian shouted, wings opening up as he fell back on the couch.

"Nooooo." Techno groaned, banging his head into the table.

"Sorry." Dream grinned sheepishly.

"Yeah you better be."

It had started five years ago, when the trio where going in their third holiday together. They where taking Delta Airlines to New York, and Grian was complaining.

"I could get there faster on my wings!" He had huffed out.

"Go on, then." Dream had joked, meaning to tease the smaller.

But, instead if the anticipated huff, Grian got a spark in his eyes. A spark that the other two knew to well.

"Dream..." Techno mumbled under his breathe. Dream gulped.

"That, Dream, is the best idea you've ever come up with." Grian exclaimed, getting up from his seat.

"Grian, no."

"Grian yes!"

And then, within the hour, Grian had got permission to jump out of a plane.

And, much to the dismay of his partners, Grian went through with it.

No, really.

Grian Xelqua Diamond jumped out of a plane to prove Dream wrong.

And he beat them to the airport to.

"Dream, I don't understand why you didn't buckle down and just use a different airline for once." Techno groaned as they waited in the terminal.

"Because who would I be if I used Atlanta Airlines?" Dream laughed.

"A respectable man, that's what." Techno grumbled, crossing his arms.

"Well, Grian can't take off until we have." Dream pointed out.

"Oh, we are so losing." Techno scoffed. "Grian flys fast, Dream. He's beaten us the other 7 times."

"So? He won't win this time."

"That's what you said last time."

"So? This time-"

"And the time before that- and the one before that- and the one before-"

"Okay Techno, we get it!"

Grian giggled as the wind blew through his feathers.

He was waiting for the 'go!' from Dream so he could also lift off and beat them, like he did every time. They had all agreed that Grian would stay well away from any actual airoplanes, as jet engines and exhaust fumes where dangerous for the ex-watcher.

He felt a small buzz from his hand as the LED-like object he held turned green, and so he took off.

Honestly it was sought of romantic, Grian lifting off into the gentle sunset at the same time as the airoplane, even if they where miles apart.

And so the trio raced.

So I know it seems inconclusive, but the requester said that it ended with them flying off into the sunset so that's what I did!

Again, another 500-word fic.
