(As I said, 3 is the canonical ending I just wanted angst to)

Dream was numb. He was leaning against a stone- no, againt Techno (and vice versa).

Why would Grian do that

Why- why would he do that?

He cried quietly as the priest asked for Grian's soul to be accepted into heaven. He could tell that Techno was grieving.

He knew because he was so still. He wasn't moving or saying random jokes or doing any Technoblade stuff.

He just stood.

They both just stood.

No words could ever tell.

When Techno got home he buried himself in work.

He just worked and worked and worked.

Dream couldn't do anything at all.

He cancelled any and all videos and appointments he had and just sat on the couch.

He just sat.

Techno just worked.

They couldn't do anything else.

There wasn't anything else.

Grian was gone.

How could Grian be gone?

The pair stayed like this for two months. They barely talked to each other at all in that time.

It stopped being like that when Dream found Techno sobbing at his work desk, just overwhelmed by emotion.

Dream didn't leave his side until he'd stopped crying.

So they got up.

And they talked.

They got help. They did everything Grian would've wanted them to do.

Everything he should have done.

And for a while it wasn't ok.

It would never really be ok.

But that's fine.

They rebuilt life.

They never moved in. They always visit his grave at least once a week.

But they can live.

And they will.

Because it wasnt a thing they could live through.

Buy maybe it was.

So I kind of just wrote what I thought it would be like? I've never had someone close to me die, so for those who have I am sorry if this offends you, or projects a wrong image.

Also it's short.

But I though that short was appropriate for this one, heh. I really wanted to focus on techno and Dreams views.

There won't be another part.
Maybe another oneshot in the same universe, but not another part.
