Grian never told anybody his birthday.

He just didn't. Nobody ever asked about it, so why being it up?

And if someone did ask?

"Oh, I'll tell you when it's closer."

Or something along those lines

And nobody realized that they never celebrated Grian's birthday.

And Grian was fine with that.

When Grian was in YHS, Taurtis was murdered on his birthday (go with it).

Grian always hated his birthday because he believed that anyone around him or who was aware of it being his birthday would suffer a similar fate.

So he never bought it up.

It was, of course, Feb 25th*.

So, Grian was fine with the fact everyone forgot about his birthday every year, and everyone else forgot so it didn't matter.

Until Mumbo noticed and brought it to everyone's attention.

"Grian, when is your birthday?"

"I'll tell you-"

"When its closer. Yeah, but like, when now?"

"Uh- I-"

"G?" Iskall prompted, who was standing next to Mumbo.

"I- I can't tell you." Grian stumbled.

"Why not?"

"Because- I dont- it's personal ok?"

"...can we help at all?"

"I- I'm fine."

"Ok."

Grian stood up, focusing on the point infront of him. He studied his room again, like he always did. Nothing ever changed about it, anyways.

He stumbled a little, but soon regained his usual bouncy pace.

He had dazed parts, or uncertain parts sometimes, probably due to brain trauma from YHS.

Grian didn't mind that much. He had a whole bunch of other problems to deal with.

Like finishing his base, or restocking the barge.

Much more important things.

Mining out his other nether portal area!

He stepped outside.

No, no, he'd done that some time last week. He couldn't remember when, or how.

Usually he recorded these things, but not that time apparently.

*That's actually MY birthday because I was to lazy to research.
