Wooooooo we going today!

(Alt. Title; Readers Getting Lucky)

Never had the trio been so alone in such a crowded place.

School, they all unanimously decided, was the worst place and time of the day. They all prefered to be out vigilantey-ing.

It was weird, hearing their classmates praise their vigilante personas for being such do-gooders one second only to slam them into lockers and whisper about them behind their backs the next.

I, Techno decided Have it the best out of us three.

The three hybrids often stuck together, during all periods and free time in-between halls, including lunch. They never talked, rarely interacted at all, but it kept them all safer.

The piglin hybrid couldn't help himself feel anger and sympathy for the strawberry-blonde boy as he was slammed to the ground.

"Stupid Watcher! What are you doing, redeeming yourself? Evil bitch!"

"Wooooow, nice job, you can get slammed into the concrete while Glow can fight if five robbers and stay standing. Not even a good watcher, apparently!"

Poor Grian. If only he could protect himself like Glow, maybe he'd ask the vigilante to visit the poor boy. It wasn't fair that they compared the two of them.

Maybe they needed a visit from Blood.

The kids finally stopped picking on the teenager, and Techno made his silent entry. He helped the hybrid onto his feet and, as always, silently led the way to their eating spot, grabbing the teenager food in the way.

Grian (he thought that was his name, anyway) gave him a small nod of acknowledgement, a thank you, and continued their tradition of silent protection and ignorance of the judging stares.

Dream joined them not long after, a silent glare was thrown at a gossiper as he patted Grian's head.

It was like a dysfunctional protection group, and they were okay with that.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

"Det! Twelve O'clock!" Blood shouted, watching as Detonation threw the assailant down and bound them with his lasso. Techno should get a lasso. Lassos were cool.

"Oh, it's 'Det' now, is it?"

"Be quiet!"

"Alright, Blo! oh, fuck, wait, no-"

Glow burst out laughing, his Telekinesis wavering slightly.

"Shit!" The watcher vigilante cursed, re-obtaining the captives and swirling them up together. "Det! Blood! Some of that help you promised?"

Ever since the first bank robbery, the trio had teamed up. The first Vigilantes ever in Central Hub were being called the 'Hybrid Trio', even when Hybrids were the most shunned kind in the city, the vigilantes (and only the Vigilantes, as the trio had found out) were welcomed with open arms, while the police were often distracted and shamed from trying to arrest them.

The public was a great help sometimes.

They found that they worked well together, especially with Glow's containment powers. Though on major scale crimes, like that one time they had to take down an entire mafia, the vigilante's powers weren't enough. If he used them too much in one set time period, then they'd fail him and he wouldn't be able to use them for up to a week, meaning he'd have to stay off-scene and leave them to do the jobs alone.

"That's another one down!" Blood called, watching as Detonation darted away from the (now slightly toasted) shoplifter and Glow circled around the upper quadrant, occasionally diving in to knock down a robber or two.

There wasn't a lot of room to fly, the elder vigilante noted, but he did so anyway. ̶I̶t̶ ̶w̶a̶s̶ ̶k̶i̶n̶d̶a̶ ̶h̶o̶t̶-̶  It must take a lot of experience and drive to do so, and Techno could admire that.

If only he could stop feeling so goddamn attracted to his two partners-in-vigilantism.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

"Glow."

Grian spun around at the mention of his vigilante name, turning to face Blood, his r̶e̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶a̶w̶e̶s̶o̶m̶e̶  partner-in-vigilantism.

"Blood! What can I uh, do for you?" The teenager asked, wings folding behind his back once again.

"There's this guy I know; about our age." Blood started. This caught the younger's interest. Who could Blood be talking about? Why was he talking about them? "His name is Grian."

What.

"He's also a watcher hybrid, he's bullied in o- his Highschool. I ask you to stop by and talk to him. He could do with some confidence."

How the fuck did he-

"Is that good with you?"

Techno.

"Yeah, I can talk to the guy. Adress?"  He asked, making sure his voice stayed the same.

"{insert adress}." Tech- Blood responded. Glow nodded slowly.

"Thanks, Blood. I'll give him a visit tomorrow."

"Thank you."

"Out of curiosity,.." Grian continued hesitantly. He had to play his cards right. "How do you know this 'Grian'?"

"He's... a friend."

Blood thought he was a friend!

"I see. Well, I'll see what I can do with your mystery friend. Talk to ya soon!"

Glow landed on his balcony, removing his mask and throwing himself onto his bed.

He only knew one piglin hybrid, especially only one who might consider him a friend.

And he was panicking slightly, he'd admit.

Because oh, shit,

Techno was Blood.
