Romantics (Oneshot)

LATE valentine's day special.

(Hopefully only by a few hours though, and not by like a couple days)

Probably won't be that long, just a fluffy date with the trio we know and love.

"Techno! TechnoTechnoTechno!" Grian and Dream chanted, pulling the hybrid away from his camera.

"Heeeh!?"

"It's Valentine's Day!" Grian cheered, bouncing up and down.

"HEEEH!?"

"C'mon! We're taking you and Bread on a date!" Dream laughed, rolling his eyes at Techno's reaction.

"Okay I'll make an exception." Techno reasoned.

"Good, now c'mon pink man, let's go to the cheesecake shop." Dream replied, making sure that Techno stated by them.

"I told you not to call me that."

"I ignored you."

"What did I do to deserve you two?" Techno groaned.

"Literally nothing, we're godsends." Grian reasoned.

The trio quickly stopped at a local bakery, making sure to enter discreetly. They where famous.

"Hello! Welcome to The Soul Bakery- oh, welcome back you three!" The cashier, Stacy, greeted them.

"Hey Stacy! We're here for our Two O'clock order?" Dream asked politely.

"Of course, the Strawberry Cheesecake and the Graham Cracker Cheesecake, the four-hundred chocolate-covered strawberries, and the nine crossaints, correct?" Stacy asked.

"Yep, those are the orders!" Grian reassured.

"Great! Alright, have fun you lovebirds, I'm not on break yet!"

The trio often visited The Soul Bakery when they needed baked goods when Grian was out late or when he simply didn't feel like baking, and they'd become good friends with the cashier.

"Alright Stace, we'll see ya later!" Grian smiled.

"Call me Stacey!" Stacey laughed

"Got it, Stace!" The trio echoed back at her.

"So what is this little surprise-date you two have planned?" Techno asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Weeeeeeell, we're having a picnic!" Grian cheered.

"Under the cherry blossoms." Dream added.

"Heeeh!?"

"It's a tradition, Techy." Grian laughed. His partner was often misinformed about player traditions.

"A pretty popular one, I hope we can find space." Dream added.

"Hmm. Well, we better, because this basket is heavy!"

"Grian you ordered four-hundred chocolate-covered strawberries."

"I have a sweet tooth!" Grian huffed.

"Oh there is no doubt about that." Techno laughed.

"Exactly! Remember the time we let him get the ice cream?" Dream sighed nostalgically.

"How could I forget?" The hybrid snorted. "I was sure we'd never have to get more ice cream again!"

"Guuuuys!" Grian whined, though his eyes twinkled in amusement.

"Hmmm?" Techno hummed.

"Oh shut up. C'mon, blossoms are right over there!" Grian called.

"Not nearly as crowded as I thought." Dream admitted, putting down the picnic blanket.

"Not nearly! Now come ooooon! I'm hungryyyyyyyy!"

The trio sat down and enjoyed the cheesecake.

"I was skeptical of the bakery at first, but they've really exelled!" Dream smiled.

"Not as good as my baking though, right?"

"No, not as good as your baking." Techno smiled, kissing the shorter's (heeeere we go again-) forehead.

"Not missing you on the old server, Ay?" Grain giggled, looking up at the duo.

"Not as far as I'm aware. Just glad we have some quality time!" Dream admitted.

"Well, I'm glad we did this." Techno said, trying to use his limited social skills to his advantage (mood Technoblade, mood-).

The trio laughed, and continued talk over their lunch.

Boy did it take them awhile to eat all those strawberries.

Finally, they had to pack up and head home.

"Alright, this has been really fun!" Grian smiled.

"Indeed it has, must do this again." Dream hummed, pulling his mask over his face once again.

Grian carefully skipped back to Hermitcraft, leaving just Dream and Techno together.

"I thought you said you weren't one for romantics." Techno laughed.

"Hmm, well, I lied."

Okay! In my timezone this is like two hours before midnight so it may be late for the rest of you. Hope you enjoyed reading this, it took ages!
