Angst. Requested by Fully_Waterproof! Literally just 'idk I want angst' so here's ya angst.

Grian rushed forwards.

Maybe if he got there in time, he could catch Dream.

Because he knew for a fact that stumbling backwards off a small cliff wasn't part of the the script.

Everything was in slow motion.

There was blood pumping in Grian's ears as he ran forwards. He could feel every muscle in his body tensing. He knew what was going to happen.

When Dream fell back, Grian was only about twenty to thirty blocks away.

He was just to late.

Dream shouted out. Grian had been two blocks away. He was so close.

So close.

He had failed. He had failed and now Dream was going to die and it was all his fault. He hadn't gotten there in time.

Georgenotfound ran forwards to, getting a rescue team together. The camera men where running down to the bottom of the cliff with George, many had bandages and disinfection wipes. Everything was so overwhelming. Grian fumbled with his communicator and called 911.

He was going to be to late

"Hello?"

"I- please, come, there's been an accident- our- our server ID-"

He already knew that they wouldn't get there in time.

"Sir, please tell me what's happened."

"He- he f- fell. Twelve, maybe f- fifteen block- s" Grian stumbled out.

"Server ID?"

He just knew.

"U- uh- 2938- please, please-"

Grian woke up*.

He jolted up, tears streaming down his face. He had had this dream every night since the accident, so for about a week now. He felt Techno's arms wrap around him.

"It's okay, it's okay."

"It's my fault. I couldn't- I wasn't fast enough."

"He'll be fine. The doctors are skilled." Techno tried to reassure him. It was kind of hard with such a monotone voice.

"B- but I could have-"

"You couldn't have."  Techno was good at firmness, though. "Grian, there was nothing you could have done."

"Ye- yes there w- wa- was." Grian whispered. "I- I could've seen. On- one more s- second. I- I needed One m- more second!"

"Grian." Techno whispered.

Grian finally looked up.

"He's fine. He won't blame you. It's not your fault."

"B- But-"

"But you need sleep." Techno said firmly.

"..." Grian pondered something. "When did you wake up?"

"Hmm?" Techno asked.

"When did you wake up?"

"A- about 3am." Techno admitted.

"Please?" Grian whispered. "Sleep to?'

"Alright." Techno agreed.

Grian did not get to sleep again that night.

How could he?

He could've saved him.

And Techno didn't understand.

Techno hadn't been there.

He hadn't seen it.

He hadn't seen how Dram had stopped breathing for a while there.

Just a minute.

And then again.

And just on and off.

How was it not Grian's fault?

*I do this to often lol.

So it's 2:19AM!

Wooooo.

Anyway, how are you guys lol.

I don't know a lot about medical procedures or anything of that sort, so I'm not sure if I was factually correct through this chapter.
