Ok so this is kinda how I feel about life? It's like; It's kinda pointless but I'd hate to die.

Grian sat down next to EX, smiling faintly.

"Hey, you ready?" EX asked.

"Y- yeah." Grian sniffed, whipping away a year that had yet to fall.

"Don't want to leave them?" EX whispered.

"No." Grian whispered back.

"C'mon Xel. It's almost time." Xanthos said, wrapping him in a hug.

"I don't want to go, Xan." Xelqua whispered.

"I know you don't." Xanthos said. The words coming out of.his mouth almost weren't his. He was on autopilot.

"I sent the messages to Dream and Techno."

"I sent mine to Xisuma."

"...Think they'll come?" Xelqua asked in anticipation.

"No." Xanthos whispered. "I don't think they'll even see it before it's to late."

"You think?"

"Mhm."

They sat in silence for a while.

"Xel." Xanthos finally looked up. "Xel you shouldn't be doing this."

"I-" Xelqua hesitated.

"Xelqua. Please, I know it's hard But-" Xanthos started. His friend burst into tears next to him.

"I- I'm sorry I know I- I kn- know!" Grian cried. "I'm not ready I don't want to go I don't want to go."

"Then don't." Xanthos smiled up at him weakly. "Let's- let's both step away."

"I-" Grian looked around. "Ok."

"Okay." EX whispered. "Delete the messages. Let's go."

Grian got on his communicator and deleted the message previously sent, then went and changed the archive so they wouldn't know. EX did the same thing with his, though he didn't bother changing the archive.

"Ready?"

"Yeah."

And the two of them got up and walked away.

Boom, done-
