over the next few months, the castle was busy preparing for the upcoming war. jungwon was especially occupied as he trained his men harder and fiercer to make sure that they had a good chance at victory. the villagers were informed a couple weeks after discussing the matter and instead of hating the idea, they were fully supporting it.
the princes were crazy busy planning their strategies, checking over their equipment, training and making sure everything was going to go according to plan. they were so focused on preparing for this war that they didn't visit haneul as much, something they would regret greatly in the future.
the princess' condition was getting worse but the pain she was feeling was nothing compared to the one coming from her heart. the doctors now are checking in on her more often then past months as she was truly on the thin line between life and death and during one of these check ins, the female over heard about the war from doctors and nurses.
to say the least, she was greatly disappointed. she knew that they were doing this for her but they knew that she hated the idea and concept of war. why should there be such a thing where so many people could lose their lives in such a horrific way? haneul had expressed her hatred towards this so many times to her brothers, but now a war was going to happen because of her
and she hated that.
