Prologue

"Does everybody know what the plan is?" Killjoy asks.

"Have Brimstone explain it, he'll probably say it in actual English this time," Phoenix says.

"We all know what the plan is, Phoenix is just incredibly stupid," Jett says.

"I'll be opening a rift to Venice, Italy in about five minutes," Yoru says.  "Everybody gear up.  Things are gonna get messy the moment we appear."

"As I had suspected, we won't make it there fast enough to stop them from planting the Spike, but if we move fast enough and if this plan goes smoothly, we'll be able to defuse it before it explodes," Killjoy says.  "So, again, other than Phoenix of course, does everybody know what to do?  Izuku, your job specifically is very important if we don't want to be shot upon entering the rift.  Do you know what to do?"

Izuku brushes his green jacket of any dust before taking his Ghost out of its holster on the brown belt wrapped around his waist and stuffing a bullet in the chamber of it before putting it back into its holster and unstrapping the Vandal from his back (imagine Izuku in SS Chara's (look it up) jacket but zipped up and with long black pants, black boots, and a brown belt).

"Yes, I know what to do," Izuku says, subconsciously pulling the safety pin out.  "I won't disappoint."

"Good," Killjoy says, turning to Yoru.  "Prepare to open the rift."

"Mid marketplace is smoked off!" Jett shouts.  "Enemy spotted in boathouse behind the site!"

"Alright, here we go!" Izuku shouts.  "Prepare to rush!"

Izuku aims his pointer finger at a wall, his finger sparking with light green electricity.

"Firing flash!" Izuku shouts, flicking at the wall.

A light green arrow shoots out of his finger, bouncing twice against two walls and bursting in a bright flash of light green light.

"Thirty four seconds until detonation!" Killjoy shouts.  "Let's move people!"

Jett dashes into site from the right side summons her knives with a bit of wind.  She fires them at another Jett with an operator, but she misses and dashes behind some boxes for cover before the other Jett could fire a shot.  Izuku pulls out his Vandal and shoots her in the head.

"Jett down!" Izuku says, backing up into a wall.  "Yoru, where are you?!"

There's a loud warping sound followed by gunfire.

"Commander down!" he says.  "Enemy spotted right behind the wall you're against, Izuku!"

"Initiating lockdown!" Killjoy shouts, slamming a small white cylinder looking device into the ground.

The shout is immediately followed by an operator shot going off.  Killjoy falls to the ground, dead and with a hole in the side of her head.

"Our Killjoy is down!" Izuku shouts.  "Yoru, can you deal with the Breach?!"

"I've got two of them on me!" Yoru shouts back.  "I can't aim properly without being shot down!"

"Welp, here goes nothing," Izuku says, pointing his Vandal to the wall behind him and holding the trigger.  

After firing a few shots, Izuku hears a grunt of pain and then the sound of a body falling to the ground.

"You got the Breach!" Yoru shouts.  "I'm going to push the Spike for a defuse, but you're going to have to cover me!"
