"Oh my god, how f!*%ing big is this place?!" Jett complains. "We've been running in circles for nearly an hour!"
"It's only been fifteen minutes," Spark says. "Don't be such a baby. Plus, you think this place is big? Try my high school."
"Oh, you're calling me a baby?" Jett scoffs. "Kid, I'm more than a decade older than you."
"Physically, you are," Spark says. "Mentally, however, you're more like an angsty teenager going through a phase."
"Kid, I will legitimately beat the he-"
"Will y'all shut up?" Yoru growls. "God, you're all total children."
At the moment, the four Radiants were still running around the Chie Hassaikai's secret compound, attempting to locate where Kai Chisaki, a renowned criminal and target to the Valorant agency, was hiding himself and where he stored his radianite. However, the compound's large size and immensely complicated layout were giving them a hard time.
"Ya g, I feel like we're the only mature ones here," Phoenix says.
"You're not any better than the two of them," Yoru shoots back.
"Ey man, that's not very nice," Phoenix says.
"Just stating a fact," Yoru says.
At that, the four agents come across yet another turn. They all stop at the turn and pull out their weapons. Phoenix snaps his fingers, a small, glowing orb of floating just above the palm of his hand. He waves it around the turn, where it pops with a sound similar to miniature explosion. The four agents then swing around it widely, their weapons down the hallway. There were two guards standing in the hallway guarding a large set of metal double doors, but they were easily dispatched.
"Hey, double doors," Spark says, putting away his weapon and walking over to it.
His fellow agents follow suit. Yoru crouches down to eye level with a small keypad to the right of the doors. He presses four buttons on the keypad, but the small screen above it flashes red as a sharp but quiet beep resounds. He presses another four buttons, but the small screen flashes red again and another beep resounds.
"'Kay, Phoenix," Yoru says, sighing as he backs away from the keypad. "If you will."
Phoenix cups his hands over each other. When he parts them, a fireball appears between the palms of his hands. He throws the fireball at the door. A fiery explosion goes off, punching a large, heated hole through the doors.
The agents peered through the hole, attempting to see if they could find anything. However, it was too dark inside the room behind the doors and the lack of light was blotting out view of anything in the room.
Being naturally resistant to high temperatures, Phoenix easily steps through the hole, his leg brushing against the heated edges of it. Jett summons a small gust of wind and uses it to cool the hole so that she, Spark, and Yoru could also step through it.
"Hey, Phoenix!" Yoru shouts. "See anything in there?!"
"Nah, it's too dark!" Phoenix shouts back. "I'm tryna find a-, ah! Found it!"
A loud ka-chang sound resounds throughout the room. When Jett, Spark, and Yoru step through the hole Phoenix created, lights from the ceiling flash to life, illuminating it wholly.
With the lights on, the agents could see what room they had just stepped into. It was more like a huge chamber with metal walls. On the other side of the large room was another large set of metal double doors and a panel right beside it. It was a simple chamber, adorned with nothing but lights on the ceiling and metal pipes running down the walls from the ceiling to the ground.
