"Hi!  I'm Ochaco Uraraka!" greets the Urarakas' daughter as Izuku climbs into the car and closes the door.  "Nice to meet you!"

When seeing her, the first word that came to Izuku's mind was "cute."

She had short, straight chocolate brown hair and chocolate brown eyes.  She had a cheeky smile, the one that he'd only see on the kids' shows Killjoy had showed him when he was younger.

"Izuku Midoriya," Izuku greets, smiling holding his hand out for a handshake.

Ochaco takes it and shakes his hand.  Despite her casual appearance, her hand was teeny bit rough and her grip pretty firm.

"What's in that case?" Ochaco asks him, pointing to the pack slung across Izuku's back.

"Not really allowed to take it out in a public place such as out here," Izuku says.  "I can show you when I get settled at your place.  I hope that we'll get along well."

"So do I," Ochaco says.

Izuku and Ochaco make small talk for a few minutes before Ochaco's parents finish talking with the chief and get into the car.

"Welcome to your new home!" Mr. Uraraka says, letting Izuku into the Urarakas' apartment.

It was a fairly small apartment.  There was a bathroom, a small kitchen, a small living room, and a small bedroom.  In fact, everything about the apartment's interior was small.  Neat, but small.

"Well, it's not exactly the fanciest of places," Mr. Uraraka says, chuckling nervously and scratching the back of his head.

"Better than what I used to sleep in," Izuku says.

It wasn't really a lie.  The dorms within Valorant headquarters were cramped little rooms, just big enough to fit bunks for two agents and a small desk.  Plus, Izuku was unlucky enough to bunk with Breach.  He'd take sleeping to the sound of chainsaw to sleeping to the sound of him snoring.

But when he slept, he could sleep comfortably knowing that his fellow agents would immediately wake to his call of distress when the need called for it.

He had a feeling these first few nights weren't going to be too restful.

"Well, uh, where would you like to sleep?" Mrs. Uraraka asks.  "We can go to purchase a spare mattress and put it in our daughter's room real quickly."

"No need to trouble yourself with me, Mrs. Uraraka," Izuku says, giving her a reassuring smile.  "I can sleep on the couch if that's fine with you."

"Well, if that's what you want," Mrs. Uraraka says.  "If you need a pillow or a blanket or anything, don't be afraid to request for one."

"Thank you, Mrs. Uraraka."

"Oh please, you're a part of the family now!" Mrs. Uraraka exclaims.  "Plus, Mrs. Uraraka makes me feel old.  Just call me mom or mother."

"Alright, mother."

"Now that that's out of the way," Mr. Uraraka says.  "Let's talk house rules."

"Lemme guess, no guns in the house?" Izuku asks.

"Guns?" Ochaco asks, staring wide-eyed at Izuku.

"Yes, no guns in the house," Mr. Uraraka says sternly.  "Don't even think about opening that case in here unless the need calls for it.  Do you understand?"

"Yes, sir."

"Second, no using Quirks in the house," Mr. Uraraka says.

"Yes, sir."
