"Eraser Head, sir, Eri is ready to see you."
Mr. Aizawa looks up from the news articles of Stain the Hero Killer's very recent killing and to the nurse who had come to call him.
The pro hero/teacher was waiting patiently for this day. He didn't realize just how much he was looking up to it since checking on this particular patient's discharge day after the Hosu City incident.
Today was the day that he could finally meet and talk with Eri, the young female captive of the Chie Hassaikai.
Ever since being found on the furry principal of UA's desk, the heroes were quick to move in and secure the girl. At first, she was startled by the sudden commotion of a whole group of newly-recovered pro heroes barging into the office she was sat in, but she allowed them to take her into protective custody without resistance.
Mr. Aizawa wanted to interrogate her immediately, but her doctors forbid him from doing so, claiming that she still had a fragile mental state from her time in the hands of the Hassaikai and her most-undoubtedly-loud breakout. As a result, they needed to keep her for some time to make sure that she had regained a well-enough mental state to undergo an interrogation.
So the moment he gets the notice that Eri was available for interrogation, he makes sure that he's the first to meet with her, even before the police.
The teacher/pro hero follows the nurse down a hallway to a door that was much, much more fortified than the other doors in the hallway.
"Forgive us for the security, Eraser Head-san," the nurse says, tapping in what sounded like an eight-digit code before sliding a keycard through a keycard scanner. Then she turns the doorknob in a very oddly specific way before using a key to unlock a deadbolt. "But we just needed to make sure that, for the time being at least, she would be safe from villains who might want to get their hands on her."
"I understand," Mr. Aizawa says, following the nurse into the room.
The room itself looked like every other infirmary room in the hospital. It was sparsely decorated and had nothing but a large hospital bed flanked by some hospital equipment at its left and right.
Sitting on the bed was a single girl with long white hair, a single horn, and red eyes wearing a turquoise hospital gown. She was playing with a large brown teddy bear that was almost as big as she was. Although she was enthusiastically fiddling around with the bear, her face had a frown on it.
"Ah, Shota!" he hears Principal Nezu call. The hero turns to find the small furry principal sitting on a chair at the far corner of the room. "Just in time! Eri is quite a...conversational child."
The girl just turns to look at him.
"Anyways, ask away!" the principal says. "I believe she'll respond to...hopefully all your questions."
Mr. Aizawa turns to Eri, who looks up at him.
"Hello Eri, I'm the pro hero known as Eraser Head," Mr. Aizawa greets. "Are you familiar with who I am?"
The little girl just nods.
That confuses Mr. Aizawa for a bit. If she was as quarantined as some of the yakuza members that were interrogated had said, then how did she know who he was?
Well, Chisaki was a very active villain. Maybe she heard his name a couple of times from him from conversations here and there.
"I've got a couple of questions for you," Mr. Aizawa says. "Do you remember anything from whoever took you? Any at all?"
The girl looks down at the teddy bear in her arms before tilting her head from side to side.
"So is that a yes or a no?"
