"Whaddaya want?" Chizome Akaguro, or as he was more popularly known, Stain the Hero Killer, asks, plopping down on a nearby bar stool. "I'm on a tight schedule."
Stain had just reached Hosu City. He received intel that his next target, a pro hero by the name of Native, was going to be in the city on a mission.
A lot of people had asked why the Hero Killer had started killing heroes. Only he himself knew the answer to that question.
It was simply because he hated them. Absolutely despised them.
Pro heroes had killed his parents.
Pro heroes had killed his wife Amaya and his only son, little Taiyo.
Pro heroes had killed his friends.
Pro heroes had killed his protegees, two boys and two girls that he couldn't help but see as his own children.
Pro heroes had killed everybody that he loved.
Chizome was once a kind and loving person. A family man some would call him. But when "heroes" entered the equation, his loving personality was replaced by a much darker and more blood-thirsty one. Now, there was nobody around to remember who he once was.
A hero was supposed to be somebody who protected the weak and did services for the people. But all he saw them as were merciless killers. Real heroes only existed in those books he used to read.
So he made his name as someone who killed off pro "heroes." Even when he woke up one day to all of a sudden find himself in a whole new world, one so different from the crumbling, post-apocalyptic one that he was born in, he couldn't quell his hatred for "heroes."
Which was why he found himself in Hosu, scouting out for yet another pro hero to kill.
At the moment, however, he was within the presence of a group of villains called the League of Villains, a group of some of the most wanted criminals in Japan. And sitting at the other side of the small bar he was in was who he assumed to be the leader of said organization: Tomura Shigaraki, a light blue-haired man who looked like he hadn't slept an hour of his life.
So the attack on the USJ dome some months before was from this guy. He definitely did have that supervillain appearance.
"You're here because I want to make you a proposition," Shigaraki says.
"Proposition?" Chizome responds with.
"Yes," Shigaraki says. "I want you to join the League of Villains."
The hero killer almost scoffs, but he stops himself. He didn't exactly want to make enemies with this particular villain group. That would be pretty inconvenient for him.
"And why do you want me to join exactly?" Stain asks.
"Because you are someone who can help us reach our goal," Shigaraki says, folding his hands together.
"Which is?" Stain asks, pretty sure that he already knew the answer to his own question.
"To kill All-Might," Shigaraki says, holding up a hand as if he were holding an invisible bowl with one hand. "To kill anything that gets in the way of destroying the hero system."
Stain almost scoffs again.
"I'm already part of a plan that will destroy the whole hero society altogether," he says. "I don't need to join your little boy scout group just to be part of a much less ambitious plan."
Shigaraki's eye twitches.
"Plus, do you honestly think you guys can take on the hero society?" Stain asks, actually visibly scoffing this time. "Don't think you're all high and mighty just because you can infiltrate a UA facility. Anybody can do that as long they spend enough time planning out an attack. Speaking of your little 'plan' to take out All-Might, it was laughable how hard it failed. I mean, how'd you expect something that was almost taken down by a kid to kill All-Might? Hilarious, really."
