Izuku, the Radiant Hero (BNHA x Valorant Crossover)

Chapter 11

The Nomu charges towards Izuku as black and white lightning erupts from his body and glowing, light green particles dance at his fingertips.  

As it approaches Izuku, the Nomu raises a fist and slams it downward and towards Izuku, who backflips into the air just as the Nomu's fist smashes the ground where he was standing just a second earlier.  While in the air, thetouch the ground, the particles around his hands gathered to cover his right arm.  In a flash of light, the particles disappear, leaving Izuku's right arm wrapped in a tight-fitting black and light-green gauntlet.

The moment Izuku's feet touch the ground, he could hear the Nomu barreling towards him again from behind.  Izuku then turns around, leaps to the side just as the Nomu's fist misses him by a couple of inches, and fires a light green triangular prism at the side of the Nomu's head.

The triangular prism breaks into light green liquid that splashes all over the side of the Nomu's head just as it makes contact.  The Nomu lets out an ear-piercing shriek.

Mr. Aizawa watches as the liquid starts bubbling and releasing gas.  The Nomu screeches again as the acid visibly eat its way through the Nomu's skin.  

Was that acid?  And how was it so strong that it could overwhelm regeneration that effortlessly healed something as serious as consecutive gun shots?  

Izuku holds out his left hand.  Light green particles gather into the palm of it, forming another light green triangular prism.  He inserts it into a little barrel attached to the gauntlet on his right arm and aims it at the Nomu again.

A blur of movement diverts Mr. Aizawa's attention to the light-blue haired villain dashing towards Izuku.  The pro hero lashes out with a sash, tying it around the villain's foot.  He then lifts the villain over his head and slams him into the ground.  Mr. Aizawa lashes out with more sashes, but the villain rolls to the side and hops back onto his feet just as more sashes attempt to grab at his feet.

"Heroes," he grumbles.

Mr. Aizawa doesn't respond.  He lashes out with more sashes and manages to grab the villain's arm with one of them.  He pulls on the sash, dragging the villain closer to himself and swinging an elbow at the villain's head.  With uneblievably fast reflexes, the villain grabs at Mr. Aizawa's elbow, using his Quirk to crumble the skin of it.

Mr. Aizawa grunts in pain, ripping his arm away from the villain's grip and punching him in the face before sweeping his leg and throwing him to the ground.

After confirming that the villain was in a tight armlock, Mr. Aizawa turns back to Izuku's fight with the Nomu.

Izuku holds out his right hand as light green particles gather into the palm of it, forming a glowing, turqoise orb.  The Nomu swings at Izuku, who ducks under the large fist, aiming his gauntlet at the Nomu's side, firing more acid at it.

Izuku was playing a mouse's game.  Despite the unaffected appearance he put up, he could very distinctly feel the wound on his head from the Nomu's punch.  It was only his training that allowed him to pull through the pain and keep on fighting.  He won't be coming back up if he took another punch like that.

It seemed that he was making progress.  After much observation, Izuku discovered that the Nomu's brain regenerated much slower than any other part of its body, including its eyes.  It was also the softest and most easily damaged.  A portion of the top of the Nomu's brain was completely gone, the portion that couldn't regenerate fast enough to cope with the strength of the acid splashed on it.

Izuku hops to the side just as the Nomu slams another fist into the ground where he just was.  Just as the fist drives itself into the ground, Izuku tossed the orb he had created at the ground right beside it.  The orb bounces off of the ground, releases a small spark of light, and covers the ground in what looked like cracked, sparkling ice.  The ice quickly crawled up the Nomu's fist and feet, pinning it to the ground.  It tried to pull out its fist to no avail.
