Lady Nagant, or more popularly known to the residents of the radianite world, Madame Leech sits at the top of an apartment building, swinging her legs in the air as she looks down at the chaos going down in Hosu City.

Down in the plaza, the pro heroes clashed with the beastlike Nomus.  Despite outnumbering the three abominable birdmen, the heroes were having difficulty putting them down due to their enhanced power, speed, and caveman-like behavior.  The battle was stuck in stalemate.

Lady Nagant just smirks down at the battle ensuing below her.

The world wasn't a place for the weak.  And although the citizens in this world may look up to the heroes as their strong, trustworthy protectors, in Lady Nagant's eyes, they were just a bunch of flashy weaklings.

The Lady turns her head from there to an alleyway far from the plaza where a much more interesting fight was taking place.

From her perch, she could clearly watch the battle between Chizome Akaguro, or more popularly known as Stain the Hero Killer, and the rather unbelievably young agent Spark of the Valorant agency.  She saw that Chizome had peeled away his skin to reveal his true form, a human-shaped figure made of glowing, light grey radianite in liquid form.  He was lobbing globs of himself at the young agent and splashing himself at the walls in an attempt to land some of himself on Spark.

Lady Nagant knew the full extent of Chizome's powers as well as how he fought.  With his true form activated, his liquid body made him impervious to all forms of physical attacks, even radianite-imbued physical attacks such as bullets, knives, fists, even explosives to a certain extent.  His own radianite acted as a very powerful acid that had the curious quality of being able to burn through all types of barriers, even plasma and particle barriers.

And not just that, his radianite had another underlying function.  Anything radianite based, regardless of it being  living or non-living, that touches even the tiniest drop of him will activate.  His radianite will act like a catalyst, exponentially raising the radianite levels of anything it touches.  He often used it to effortlessly disable radianite-powered traps and defenses that would normally shred large armored vehicles and aircraft.  If it touched a Radiant however, that Radiant's radianite levels would shoot up like a missile to a point where even their Radiant heart wouldn't be able to handle sheer amount of radianite in their body.

With all that considered, Lady Nagant had her doubts about this kid being able to kill Chizome.  Sure, he was an agent of her world's most dangerous agency with a rather amazing list of accomplishments (and quite a few pro "heroes" dead at his hands) for someone of his age, but he was just a kid.  Not some combat-hardened veteran (actually, scratch that, he was very combat-hardened), a teenager.  A brat, she was sure many had called him.

Where were his squadmates?  The four of them together would be way more than enough to take on Chizome.  The last time she saw them, they were running around Hosu, attempting to find the Hero Killer.  When the Nomus started attacking however, they disappeared.

They're not after me, are they? the Lady asks herself, taking her eyes off the battle to take a second to look around.

No signs of an impending sneak attack.

She turns back to the fight.

The reason why she came to this young agent Spark and not any of the agents in his squad was because of his connections.

He was an agent of the Valorant agency, yet he was training to become a pro hero at the most prestigious hero school in all of Japan.

She had the best chance of surviving in the long run if she got his support.
