The heroes had very little trouble entering the Chie Hassaikai's household. Not because their plan had gone flawlessly, but because there was nobody at all to stop them from raiding the house.
Upon gathering a block away from the house, the heroes all stormed the large wooden doors of the household's external walls. They broke through the large doors, entering the Chie Hassaikai's front yard, just as they had practiced.
However, there was nobody waiting for them. The front yard was completely empty.
Sir Nighteye and the other heroes look around, obviously not expecting to see absolutely nobody standing in their way between them and the house's front door, which was left carelessly ajar.
"Where is everyone?" Lemillion asks.
"They must all be in the secret compound," Sir Nighteye says, looking to the open front door. "Let's move in."
The heroes enter the house, yet again without interference. It doesn't take them long to locate the secret compound, as there was a metal stairway that looked to initially be blocked by a part of the just to the right of the front house. The heroes walk down the staircase and into the Chie Hassaikai's compound.
"Alright everyone, we're following the map we procured before this raid," Sir Nighteye says. "Remember that our goal is to find Eri. If any of you see anything, immediately shoot an alert."
Sounds of approval arise from the heroes. Sir Nighteye nods before taking the lead and starting his jog through the compound. The heroes jog after him, following his lead.
It doesn't take them too long to spot the first signs of conflict.
Sir Nighteye had taken a right turn down a T-junction, one that would supposedly take them deeper into the compound instead of one of the yakuza's Quirk-destroying Bullet production rooms. Right after he takes the right turn though, he immediately stops and holds his hand in the air. The other heroes behind him stop as well.
In that hallway, which lead to a right turn, were four unconscious bodies with what looked like bullets wounds in their heads. Sir Nighteye immediately recognized them as four of the Eight Bullets: Rappa, Tengai, Tabe, and Setsuno.
Eraser Head and Fatgum walk over to the bodies to inspect them.
"Hey, this guy's still alive," Eraser Head says, checking the pulse of an unconscious Rappa who was stuck inside of a Rappa-sized hole in the wall.
"So are these guys!" Fatgum says.
"Impossible, they were all evidently shot in the head!" Ryukyu says.
Eraser Head examines the bullet wound on Rappa's forehead. He then digs into it and pulls something out of the hole. He raises it to the light so that he and the other heroes could see what it was.
Pinched between his thumb and pointer finger was a small, black orb.
"What's that?" Lemillion asks, attempting to push past Rock Lock to get a better look at the item.
"It's a dud bullet," Eraser Head says, squinting at the orb. "I know because one of my students use them when given permission to implement his weaponry during hero training. If someone is hit in the head with one, it slams into their skull with enough force to cause a powerful concussion, instantly knocking out the target and putting them in a large coma."
"You mean that green-haired kid from the entrance exam?" Ryukyu asks. "The one that shot all the bots?"
"Yeah, him," Eraser Head says, stuffing the orb into one of his pockets.
