Mallory woke up and looked around the room and didn't see anyone. She looked at the nightstand beside her and saw her phone. She wanted to reach for it and stopped when she saw a band aid on her arm where her birth control implant had once been.
She then remembered why she was there again and felt her tears coming out again. She looked at her other hand and saw the IV still in her arm. She removed the oximeter from her finger just as Ezekiel was stepping out of the restroom.
"Hey what are you doing?" He asked as he stopped her from removing the IV that she was attempting to remove.
"Where's Noelle?" Mallory asked.
"She went back to your house, she said she would be back as soon as she could. You asked her not to say anything about what happened so she had to go make up and excuse" Ezekiel tried to calm Mallory down.
Mallory moved the sheets off her and was only able to move one leg. "I can't feel my other leg" she began to panic more than she already was.
"The doctor said it'll still be about and hour more until the anesthesia starts to fully wear off" Ezekiel sat besides her.
"I want to go home" Mallory said. "Mal, look at me" Ezekiel cupped her face and made her look at him.
"We need to talk about what happened, maybe not now but I want you to know that I'm here for you and I need you to do the same for me" Ezekiel said as he was about to hug her. "It's not your fault, none of this is" He said.
Mallory frowned and pushed him away, "You want me to be there for you? I've always been there for you Zeke! If you want me to be strong for you I can't do that Zeke, I couldn't even get the implant removed in time so we wouldn't be going through this! It's my fault and you're trying to make me feel like I had nothing to do with this? For fucks sake Zeke I don't even know if the baby was yours!" Mallory yelled.
"What?" Zeke frowned. "You heard me Zeke! I don't know if the baby was yours or Colton's. I slept with Colton the same weekend that I was with you and you want to know why? Because he brings peace to my life, because when I'm with him he makes me feel the same way that you did when we were just beginning to date, he makes time for me, always. My life isn't chaotic with him like it is when I'm with you!" Mallory continued yelling out what she really felt and it was only because of the shock she was still going through.
Noelle was just coming back from the party that had ended by that time and stepped into the room with Liam when she heard Mallory yelling.
"What's going on? Are you okay?" Noelle asked worried as she looked at Mallory then at Ezekiel.
Ezekiel was just as shocked as Mallory to hear everything she had just said. He wanted to believe that she said everything she said because of the medicine or the shock she was going through but he knew it's what she had been holding in.
He bit his lip and opened his mouth to say he didn't believe her but stayed quiet instead and looked at Mallory. Mallory by then felt bad for exploding that way and wanted to apologize but her tears beat her to it.
"Don't cry, it's what you really felt. You should call him and tell him what happened" Zeke said to Mallory before walking to the door and stepped out.
Liam followed Ezekiel down the hall. "Where are you going? She needs you" Liam stopped Ezekiel.
"She just said she doesn't know if it was mine or his" Ezekiel said holding in his tears. "What if it was yours? Your just going to leave her alone through it? Don't you love her?" Liam said.
"She made it clear it's him who she wants" Ezekiel said. "I remember the Zeke I met two years ago, a guy in love with a girl way out of his league who did everything and anything to get her to fall in love with him." Liam looked at Ezekiel.
"Fuck, from seeing all your effort even I was falling in love with you" he joked. "If she said she preferred this other guy, she's lying and if she's not lying I can see why, the Ezekiel both her and I met and made a friendship with is nowhere here anymore. Maybe she's just tired of you using her to get back at her father, something she was never a part of. Go ahead and leave, make sure you don't regret it" Liam said before turning around and walking back to Mallorys room.

"Mallory stepped into her apartment and walked over to her bedroom. Noelle accompanied her to her bedroom where Mallory got straight into her bed.
"I'll be in your other room if you need me" Noelle said to Mallory.
"You can go, I'll be fine" Mallory smiled. "Mal-"
"I want to be left alone" Mallory interrupted. Noelle looked at her.
"I won't do anything crazy I promise, I just really want to be alone and think of everything that just happened" Mallory shrugged.
"I can have Liam call Zeke"
Mallory shook her head no, "Go see the present that I got you, ask Liam to take you. I'll be fine, just maybe pick me up tomorrow morning so we can go back home" Mallory said before turning on her side.
