Mallory got to Nick's office after she called him to tell him she would take lunch to him.
"Hi, I'm here to see Devin Clemonte" Mallory said to the secretary but Devin stepped out of the elevator just in time because she had already texted him that she had arrived.
"She's with me Audrey" He said as he walked over to her and pecked her lips.
"You look beautiful" He grabbed her hand and took her with him to the elevator. They went up to his office that was a floor on top of his fathers but luckily his father was not working in the office.
They stepped into his office and Mallory looked at his desk that was filled with portfolios.
"Are those your father's cases?" Mallory asked. "Yeah, they're the upcoming ones I just have to organize them by date so he knows who to begin with" Devin nodded.
"Your office is nice compared to your fathers. His is nice as well but you're looks more spacious" Mallory said as she set the bag of food on a table that was besides the couch.
Devin smirked as he sat on the desk and eyed her, "come here" He said. Mallory walked towards him and set her purse on the chair beside her before she stepped in front of him. He hugged her waist and pulled her completely close to him.
"I can't stop thinking about what we did last night" He said. Mallory smiled and put her hand on the side of his neck.
"Is that why you haven't finished organizing those papers?" Mallory joked. "It's exactly why" Devin responded.
"Well since your being honest I can't stop thinking about it either, in fact maybe we should lock the door" Mallory bit her lip.
"Great idea" Devin smiled before letting go of her. As he walked towards the door to lock it Mallory was quick to unzip her dress and let it fall to the ground. When Devin turned he smirked and quickly walked back to her and kissed her.
He picked her up and sat her on his desk pushing all the paper work down on the floor. Mallory removed his tie and unbuttoned his shirt but not fully because he stopped her to unbutton and unzip his pants. He moved her underwear to the side and pushed in moving hard. Mallory moaned but bit her lip when she realized where they were.
When they were both done Mallory got dressed and had him help her with her zipper. They washed their hands before eating.
When they were done Mallory offered to help Devin organize his papers. He accepted the help and he began to make photocopies of them as she handed them to him.
Devin looked at her as she was concentrated with the work. "You're so fucking attractive" Devin said making her smile.

A month and a half later Mallory began packing her bags to fly back to Oxford however she still had two weeks to be home but she wanted to have her bags prepared.
She grabbed her phone and FaceTimed Devin to see what he was doing.
"Yes" Liam answered Devins phone.
"Why are you answering my boyfriends phone?" Mallory raised her brow.
"Why are you calling my best friend?" Liam widened his eyes. "I'm joking, he's driving" Liam turned the camera to Devin who smiled and shook his head at the little argument Mallory and Liam were having.
"I'll call you back when I get to our destination" Devin said.
"Peace" Devin said before ending the call.
Liam put Devins phone down and looked out the window. "Has it been hard?" Devin asked Liam.
"What?" Liam asked. "You're break up with Noelle?" Devin asked as he kept his eyes on the road.
"Not really, it didn't feel like break up. We were basically just treating each other like great friends which is good because we still talk. We actually went out to a bar a few days ago and it wasn't awkward" Liam said.
"I'm glad, it means we can all still hang out. She's a real great friend, very honest. A little to honest" Devin laughed.
"I know I remember the day I met her at the ball I thought the same. You know she's actually the only girl that I've ever been nervous with. Well in the beginning but yeah we're still good with each other" Liam nodded.
Devin drove into the underground parking lot.
"Are you going to call her back?" Liam asked Devin as they walked up the stairs to the jewelry store.
"I'll text her once I get the confirmation that everything is set up" Devin said. They knocked on the door and waited for someone to open. As they waited Devin grabbed a gummy and tablet from his pocket.
"Is that a flinstone vitamin?" Liam grinned. "Yeah I went to the pharmacy to get some things for my mom and saw them" Devin responded.
"so you bought them?" Liam asked.
"They have a good taste, I used to eat more than one when I was little, want one?"Devin laughed.
Liam extended his arm for a gummy vitamin. He put it into his mouth, "what did her dad say?" Liam asked. "First of all wasn't it like fucking scary speaking to him?" Liam asked. The door was opened by a women who asked them for their name then asked them to take a seat in the small lounge.
"I was nervous but he seemed happy about it. He even said he had already told her that he was glad she was dating me" Devin nodded. "What about her mom?"
"She was very kind as well. They really didn't say much, Mallory said she wasn't speaking to them that much so I guess that's why" Devin nodded.
"And Mallory doesn't know?"
"No" Devin shook his head. The women called Devin over and Liam followed. They walked towards the glass displays.
The women put a box on top of the glass and opened it to display three sparkly diamond rings.
"These are the Harry Winston rings you asked specifically to see in size seven" The women said.
"Those are nice" Liam said very impressed.
"Which one is nice?" Devin asked. "All three" Liam answered.
