Mallory put on her George's Hobeika champagne dress that's length was originally down to the floor but she had it altered for it to only reach to her thighs. She grabbed her hair up in a sleek bun like the previous Christmas and put on her tom ford heels before stepping out of her room and making her way down to the foyer where Bellami was just arriving with her son.
"The grinch has arrived" Mallory smiled and Bellami looked at her with a serious face before handing her baby to his nanny.
"What's going on here?" Their grandmother walked into the foyer with Noelle besides her.
"Mallory is trying to be relevant" Bellami said as she greeted her grandmother Eleanor with a kiss on the cheek.
"I'm trying to be relevant? Darling, I'm not the one wearing a satin green dress, you should've told us you were wearing that and we would've let our Christmas tree know that some competition was coming over" Mallory said before walking away.
Mallory stepped into the living room with Noelle and saw her uncle Benjamin sitting on the couch looking through his phone.
"Uncle Benji" Mallory greeted him as she sat across the room and so did Noelle but she didn't say a word to her father.
"Mallory" her uncle responded. "What was Christmas like before Noelle, Bellami or I were even born?" Mallory asked.
"Like when your father and I were young?" Benjamin asked.
"Something like that, to be specific what was your last Christmas in the Kline household like before you left? Mallory asked.
"He always went to clubs to celebrate with his friends, right brother?" Roman said so happy as he stepped into the living room.
Benjamin smiled and pointed to Roman as he looked at Mallory, "that's exactly the answer, I was never home with my family during the holiday dinners until Noelle was born" Benjamin said getting a small glance from Noelle.
"Did you like last years Christmas? I loved it because it was Noelle's first Christmas with us" Mallory smiled.
"It was interesting" Benjamin said remembering the drama Mallory had caused last Christmas.
"Things get interesting every year, I'm really excited for tonight" Mallory smiled at her uncle then at her father but Noelle knew she had something up her sleeve.
"I love the holidays they bring family together" Roman smiled. "Yes they do" Mallory nodded and looked at her father.
"Is there something you want to say?" Roman said to Mallory. "Not at all I mean it, I'm really glad grandpa, grandma, uncle, and noelle are here with us" Mallory said.
"And your grandson" Benjamin said to Roman. "It's a blessing to have him, his first year with us" Roman responded.
Mallory rolled her eyes remembering that just the year before Roman wanted Bellami to abort.
"Okay you two have your brother to brother moment, we'll go see if the table is set up" Mallory said as she got up and took Noelle with her but before they were out of the living room Benjamin asked to speak to his daughter.
Noelle nodded and Mallory walked away and so did Roman.
Mallory came across her mother who was going towards the dinning room to see if the table was set up but Mallory offered to go.
Mallory stepped into the dinning room just as they were setting up. "You guys actually forgot to set up another plate and can we actually get wine instead of champagne. Actually keep the champagne in the kitchen but bring us bottle of white wine please" Mallory smiled before stepping out.
