Ezekiel got off his car and leaned back on the door as he smiled at the thought of Mallory and him making love. He always enjoyed her hands touching his skin and remembered how she caressed his cheek. He stood there smiling for a second.

"Do you always stand there and smile like an idiot before you go into your house?"

Zeke turned and saw Liam walk off Zekes door step and walk towards him.

"What's up" Zeke said to him as they slapped hands.

"Not much. I came by to drop you off a gift and wish you a Merry Christmas Eve." Liam handed Ezekiel a gift box.

"Thanks, do you want to come inside?" Ezekiel asked Liam. "No I'm fine I still have to drop off some more gifts" Liam nodded.

"What are you Santa Claus now?" Ezekiel smiled. "Just feeling a little more blessed this year, I just have to give my girlfriend some gifts" Liam smiled.

"You're dating Mallory's cousin right?" Ezekiel asked. "Yeah, I didn't want to mention Mallory I thought it would bother you" Liam shrugged.

"No, we were actually together before I got here" Ezekiel smiled with a small hint of blush.

"You and Mal?" Liam raised his brow. "Yeah we bumped into each other at a restaurant and went somewhere else to talk" Zeke nodded his head.

"Which is why you were smiling huh? Are you two back together?" Liam asked.

"No but we've both apologized to each other, she said she doesn't want to date right now. Date me actually" Ezekiel nodded.

"That's great man, happy for you but so give her some space and just let things flow" Liam smiled

Five months later after seeing Ezekiel for the last time Mallory stepped back into her house but nobody was home.

It was finally summer and only she had arrived to Chicago. Noelle decided to visit her mom before she headed to Chicago for business lectures from her grandfather who she had begun to get a long with.

Mallory hadn't spoke to her parents since the Christmas dinner, she simply stayed in her apartment until it was time to head back to Oxford.

Bellami hadn't spoken to them either as much as they tried to contact her. She wasn't ignoring them because she was hurt that they stole her at birth, she was actually thankful that they did because they gave her the best lifestyle.

She was ignoring them so that when she finally spoke to them she could ask for whatever she wanted like the company or extra money in her trust fund. She thought she had them at her feet and she wasn't that wrong because for the past five months Antoinette had been leaving her voicemails.

Before Brooke left she said her lawyer would contact them but their was no sign of her. She was to busy trying to get transferred to the local Chicago police department to surprise them even more.

Mallory went up to her bedroom and got in the shower. She then put on a georges hobeika white long sleeve dress that had a slit on the leg. She grabbed her hair in a side parted sleek ponytail. She put on her heels and grabbed her bag before leaving her house.

In the ride from her house to her family's office she applied light makeup and put on a mauve lipstick. When they arrived she asked the chauffeur to drop her off in the main entrance so he wouldn't take her in through the parking lot.

Mallory put on her sunglasses before stepping out of the White SUV as there was media outlets outside expecting to see Noelle but all they got was Mallory.

They decided to ask her questions about her uncle and she thought about telling them off but remembered that her father always said it was best to ignore them so she did.

Once she was finally inside she walked over to the elevator and made her way up to her father's office. She knocked on the glass door before she stepped in.

Her father leaned back on his chair and looked at her as Antoinette walked towards him

"What are you doing here?" Roman asked Mallory.

"I came to see my lovely parents since you guys weren't home" Mallory smiled as she took a seat in front of them.

Roman smiled, "what goes through that head of yours?" He asked.

"You'd be surprised" Mallory smiled. "What makes you think we're happy with your presence after what you did?" Antoinette asked Mallory.

"I don't care if you're happy with my presence or not. Besides maybe you should change the tone mother it's not like I'm the one who committed a crime" Mallory shrugged as she got up.

"Besides maybe you should be more kind and loving to your only daughter, you might loose me too and who will take you both boxes of cigarettes when your in jail?" Mallory smiled. "Anyway with all that said I just wanted to let you know I'll be home for the summer" Mallory added.

"And you couldn't just tell us through a text or email?" Roman looked at Mallory.

"What's the point in that if it wont ruin your day like my presence did? Anyways I have to go, love you both" Mallory said as she left her fathers office.

Mallory walked over to the elevator and just as the doors were going to close someone put their hand to stop the doors.

"Mallory, hey" Devin said as he stepped into the elevator. "Hi" Mallory smiled and greeted him with a hug taking him by surprise.

He was engulfed by the soft smell of her Chanel perfume.

"What are you doing here?" She asked him.

"My father asked me to drop off some papers and one of your father's secretary was scanning them" Devin said. "What are you doing here?" He asked.

"I came to see my parents because nobody was home when I arrived" Mallory responded. "Did you just get here from Oxford?" Devin asked.

"Yeah" Mallory nodded and stepped out of the elevator first then followed Devin.

Mallory saw her grandfather walking towards them. "You're home" Amancio said as he approached Mallory and Devin. Mallory smiled.

"How are you doing sir" Devin shook Amancio's hand.

"We'll now that you're here I'd like to have a word with you" Amancio said to Mallory but she didn't want to speak with him.

"I think it'll have to be later tonight or tomorrow, I have breakfast plans with my friend here" Mallory pointed to Devin who widened his eyes as they didn't have plans but he got the hint that she wanted out so he nodded to agree with her.

"Okay, and you are again?" Amancio asked Devin.

"Devin Clemonte"

"You're Julian Clemonte's son" Amancio asked. "Yes sir that's my father" Devin smiled.

"Well it's great to meet you, I'll see you home then" Amancio said to Devin and Mallory as he walked over to the elevator.

"Why don't you want to speak to your grandfather?" Devin asked Mallory.

"After what I did by inviting Bellami's mother and telling her the truth they all hate me" Mallory said.

"I see. Well it was great seeing you Mal" Devin smiled.

"Are you busy?" Mallory asked. "Not really" Devin shook his head.

"Good, have breakfast with me. That's if you haven't already ate" Mallory said. "Sure" Devin nodded.

"But did you drive here because I actually asked my chauffeur to leave" Mallory said.

"Yeah we can go in my car" Devin smiled
