Mallory sat in silence as she was caught deep in her thoughts. Meanwhile Ezekiel continued telling the story about when he broke his arm in the fifth grade.

All Mallory could think about was on how stupid she could've been to not notice her period was late. Not late, it wasn't even on its way to her. She thought it was impossible because she was on birth control and her implant was ninety nine percent effective out of all the type of birth control. However she thought about her luck and knew she could probably be part of the one percent who's birth control failed.

It's not that she didn't have the money to raise a baby, she simply didn't feel like she was mature enough to raise one. She didn't think she was not ready because she knew no mother really ever is ready. Then the thought hit her, how would Ezekiel react? Would he want a baby at his age? Would he raise it with her? What would her family think?

And the final thought that made her worry even more was if it was even Ezekiels baby. Colton. She thought about the night she spent with Colton before she flew off to England. She began thinking about the dumbest questions. Would her baby like her? Did not knowing if Colton or Ezekiel were the father make her a whore?

"Mal" Ezekiel set his hand on Mallory's to get her attention after he'd been calling her name for the fifth time.

Mallory turned to look at him, he smiled at her and raised his brow, "Where are you tonight?" He asked.

Mallory looked out the window before turning to look back at him. "When would you like to have kids?" Mallory asked.

"Not at all what we were speaking of but maybe after College, why?" Ezekiel looked at her.

"Just curious. What if like your significant other was pregnant right now?" Mallory raised her brow.

"I'd ask if you're pregnant but you said your on birth control so I guess it really is just curiosity. I don't think I'd be in a good place to raise a child with all my personal problems" Ezekiel shrugged and Mallory felt sick once again but didn't show it.

"But of course if that was the case I'd do my best to put my troubles aside and make sure my child and significant other have everything they need, beginning with a great father and partner" Ezekiel added and smiled.

Mallory nodded and looked down at her thighs. Ezekiel raised her chin, "everything okay?" Ezekiel asked.

Mallory nodded.

"Now don't say 'my significant other' as if you're not the girl I'm going to marry and have children with. I love you" Ezekiel smiled and leaned in to kiss her.

Mallory stepped into Noelle's room the following day. Noelle was getting her hair done as another worker gave her a manicure. It was ordered by grandmother Eleanor who said nails looking glossy or clean were one of the most important things.

"Should I do color on my nails?" Noelle asked Mallory. "Maybe like a nude or just clear nail polish" Mallory nodded.

"I think I'll just leave it at clear nail polish" Noelle nodded. "Is this your outfit for tonight?" Mallory asked as she saw a dust bag hanging from hanger on rack of clothes they had brought her to choose from.

"Grandma helped me choose it" Noelle nodded. "Can I see?" Mallory asked and got Noelle's approval.

Mallory pulled the zipper down and opened the bag to see a black velvet strapless mini dress. "Brandon Maxwell, very cute. I love it" Mallory smiled.

"Is it a good choice?" Noelle asked. "It's a great choice. With those legs you're the one complementing the dress. Are you wearing jewelry?" Mallory asked.

"I don't have much jewelry"

"I'll find you something" Mallory smiled as she sat on Noelle's bed just as they were finishing up getting her ready.

"What are you wearing?" Noelle asked Mallory as they waited for the workers to leave the room.

"A black long sleeve dress. It's long but it has a slit on the leg. Something casual not to sparkly" Mallory nodded.

Mallory watched as the workers stepped out of Noelle's room and shut the door behind them. Mallory felt the urge to vomit once again so she quickly covered her mouth but she didn't vomit.

"Are you still feeling sick from yesterday's flight?" Noelle asked. "Yeah, I don't think it was the flight. I think that I might be pregnant" Mallory said making Noelle turn to look at her with widened eyes but she didn't say a word.

"Exactly the reaction I was waiting for" Mallory said. "No, I'm sorry it's just it came off as a surprise because didn't you say you have the implant? Whh is it that you think you might be pregnant Noelle asked.

Mallory nodded, "I do have the implant but I also track my period and I got the notification yesterday that I should be halfway or ending and I haven't got my period" Mallory said.

"Sometimes those apps don't work Mal" Noelle said to calm Mallory.

"I know and I'm really scared to go to my gynecologist" Mallory said. "Take a pregnancy test" Noelle suggested.

"I think that's what I'm going to do" Mallory nodded. "If you change your mind and want to go to your gynecologist I can accompany if you'd like" Noelle smiled.

"I'll think about it, thanks" Mallory smiled. "Everything will be fine" Noelle smiled back.

Mallory looked at herself in the mirror and liked how the dress hugged her curves or at least made them stand out just the way she wanted. She fixed her curled hair before putting on her cartier love diamond ring.

She stepped out of her room and walked over to Noelle's to see if she was ready. "Wow look at you, you look amazing" Mallory smiled. "So I brought you this ring but don't wear it on your ring finger because there will be pictures taken and the media will makeup stories like that you're engaged. I think this bracelet will bring everything together" Mallory said as she handed Noelle a Roberto Coin diamond pave bracelet.

"It's a snake, it's nice" Noelle said as she but the bracelet on. "We need another snake other than Bellami so why not a diamond snake right" Mallory said.

"Do you ever miss being good with her?" Noelle asked. "With Bellami? No. She was great and all before but it was just an act, a great one" Mallory shrugged.

"Anyway grandpa is probably waiting for us, we should head down to the party. I heard people have arrived already" Mallory smiled.
