"Devin" Liam ran towards him but he turned to look over his shoulder.

"Where's Mallory?" Liam asked. "She went inside to get retouched why?" Devin asked.

"Avah is here" Liam said. Devin eyes widened in shock, he looked at Liam then at Noelle.
"Why would she be here?" Devin frowned and almost laughed shaking his head.

"Ethan is here too and I don't know if she's simply here in peace or if she's here to talk to you" Liam said to Devin.

"I haven't seen her so maybe her family dragged her here, I think Mallory's mother sent Ethans mother an invitation" Devin shrugged. "Well I thought you should know before you come across her" Liam said.

Mallory stepped back out and had help picking up her dress so she wouldn't fall down the stairs. She reached the bottom of the stairs and walked over to her family's table.

"I have requested a song for you and I to dance" her grandfather smiled. A faint memory came to Mallory's head of a video they had when she was just five years old dancing with her grandfather in the living room. She smiled and walked away at least until the song that was playing ended.

She was going to walk over towards Devin but her grandfather called her again because the song had ended and it was time for them to dance. Mallory walked over to the dance floor with her grandfather. She turned but didn't see Devin anymore.

Mallory watched as Noelle and Liam stepped on to the dance floor and she smiled.

"You're one of the greatest gift this family could ever receive" Her grandfather said. "In your eyes, in my fathers and mother's I'm the mistake and not Bellami" Mallory answered.

"We've all done terrible things darling but they were necessary, it's something both you and Noelle haven't understood"

"Killing and stealing isn't necessary when you have enough money to live more than five lives" Mallory looked at her grandfather.

Her grandfather smiled, "I'm aware that Noelle has offered you the COO position because your father has to retire" Amancio said.

"It's not due to retirement it's due to his future incarceration. Now if we'd stop speaking about work in my wedding" Mallory said.

"He's not the only one who will be incarcerated. I know you and Noelle will do good with the company and I hope that for both of your sake you don't easy get pulled into corruption" Amancio smiled.

Devin walked to the bar to get a few drinks but he came across Avah before he could reach the bar. Devin looked at her and she looked back at him so he decided to turn around and walk away. He walked down the tunnel of flowers that led to the front entrance but Avah stopped him.

"Devin" Avah said.

"What are you doing here?" Devin turned to look at her with a furious face.

"You're not happy to see me? You look great by the way" Avah asked with a confused look in her face.

"No. Especially not in my wedding. Who even invited you?" Devin frowned.

"My uncle Martin invited us considering that my father has business with your father and the Klines" Avah said. "If we didn't send your family in specific an invitation we'd thought you figure out why, we don't want you here" Devin said.

Avah smiled pretending not to be hurt by his comment, "You and Mallory Kline, didn't think she date people like you" she said.

"What exactly are people like me?" Devin asked. "You're an outsider, you're wealthy but not exactly of her class and you're nothing like her when it comes to personality"

"You sound mad" Devin laughed. "You know I actually am. I'm jealous" Avah nodded.

Devin's smile faded.

"I broke up with you to live the whole college experience single but I've done nothing but think of you since. You know you and I were major" Avah smiled as she put her hand on his cheek and he didn't stop her. She took a step closer every time until she was only centimeters away.

Devin looked at Avah who he had been in love with for so long. He used to think that the idea of being with her while she was in college and he in higher school was a risk because she was open to a whole new world. When he started college he'd seen how different it was from high school and halfway through the year Avah decided to break up with him. However they would both look for each other.

During that time and way before Avah, Devin still had a crush on Mallory but just as Avah had said, he didn't think he'd ever have a chance with her.

Devin set his hand on top of hers as he was still looking her into her eyes. He was about to move it down when they both heard clapping.

They both turned to see Mallory smiling as she walked towards them. Avah quickly stepped away.

Mallory walked towards Devins side and looked at him with a smile before turning to look at Avah.

"Avah" Mallory smiled.

Avah looked at Devin to see if he'd say something but he just looked at her then at Mallory.

"I'm glad you could join us" Mallory said to Avah.

"It was last minute" Avah responded.

"Yes, I can tell" Mallory said with a smile as she eyed Avah from head to toe.

"I should get back to my family" Avah said. "Oh no, please stay I'll be the one to leave, I'm sure you and him haven't finished your conversation just yet" Mallory said.

"It wasn't a conversation" Devin immediately answered. "I was simply telling him I didn't think you'd be the type of girl to give him an opportunity" Avah said.

"That could have been easily said through a text don't you think?" Mallory raised her brow at Avah.

Mallory smiled and touched Devins cheek just the same way Avah had done, "Now I know she's not the only one I should be attacking because you being here with her away from where anyone can see you both doesn't exactly benefit you but, please continue" Mallory said and turned around.

Devin tried to take a step to follow Mallory but Avah grabbed his arm.

"Let her go she won't listen to you if she's angry or jealous" Avah said.

"She has nothing to be jealous about" Devin said before pulling his arm away.
