"So do you know how to prepare the dough?" Devin asked as Mallory was reading the instructions on a cooking book they decided to pick up to make pizza and pasta.

"It says to prepare the dry ingredients in one bowl and the wet ones in another bowl then to mix them together" Mallory said as she read.

Devin grabbed two mixing bowels from his cabinet. Then he walked over to a drawer and took out his measuring cups and spoons. "Maybe we should've just ordered pizza" Devin smiled.

"No this is fine, we got this. We just need wine" Mallory said.

"they put wine on the dough?" Devin frowned.

"No, I mean we need a glass a wine so we drink as we cook" Mallory smiled.
"Right, I'll go get it" Devin said as he walked over to his all glass wine cellar.

Mallory mixed the dry and wet ingredients and saw her pizza dough coming along.

"Which one?" Devin brought two wines back to the kitchen and saw that Mallory was kneading the dough with flour. She cut the big ball of dough into two pieces and set one aside for Devin.

"White" Mallory said as she pointed to the wine. He opened the bottle and served two glasses setting one besides her.

"We can start playing with the dough" Mallory smiled.

"Alright may the best pizza win" Devin smiled as he stepped in front of the counter and began rolling out his dough.

Mallory tried to get a perfect round pizza but couldn't get it right.

"I think you have to toss it up in the air to get a perfect circle" Devin said when he noticed she was struggling.

"that's not true" Mallory shook her head. "Watch and learn" Devin smiled as he grabbed his dough and tossed it but once it came back down it ripped apart.

Mallory laughed when he looked at her. "I did it on purpose to see what you would say" Devin smiled.

"Right" Mallory smiled and decided to roll all her dough back into a ball.

"You know you look fucking hot rolling that dough out, I think it's the concentration" Devin smirked as Mallory blushed. She had formed her pizza dough into a heart and began putting the sauce and toppings.

Once Devin was done with his they put them into the oven and set the timer. They both began cleaning up and decided not to do the pasta.

"I bought ice cream and all the toppings necessary so we can eat that after the pizza" Devin said

Mallory leaned back against the counter as she took a drink of her wine. She looked at Devin and smiled.

"What?" Devin couldn't help but smile back. "you're just attractive thats all" Mallory responded and Devin set his wine glass aside before picking her up and sitting her on the marble counter.

"You think I'm attractive?" Devin asked. "You've always been attractive to me but it's different now that I know how much of a gentleman you are and how close I look at you, it's a whole different perspective. A great one" Mallory set her arms around his neck.

"You're going to make me blush" Devin smiled. "Why did you choose me?" Mallory looked at him.

Devin looked back at her and realized how clear the color of her eyes were. When they were friends he didn't pay much attention to them and simply thought they looked hazel and sometimes green but they were a mixture of honey and blue. He thought that maybe they changed with the color of clothes she wore and he was correct.

"What do you mean?" Devin asked.

"Why did you develop a crush on me?" Mallory asked.

"Because of your beauty. I'd see you all the time when my father and I would go to your house for work he had or when you and your father came to the office. You were so kind and polite and then three years ago when we all hanged out I got to know you more. I think having you close and hearing your voice and the way you laughed made me fall in love with you." Devin said.
