"Can we start serving ourselves?" Mallory asked looking at her grandfather. "Go ahead" he nodded.
Everyone stood up and grabbed a plate to walk down the breakfast buffet. Mallory walked over to kitchen for a glass of water since all they had was orange juice, milk, coffee, and tea on the table. She stepped into the kitchen and began thinking about Ezekiel.
She didn't realize how long she had been there standing until she heard Dimitri's voice, "you were crying"
Mallory turned to look at him. "Says who?" She said a she grabbed a glass and poured water into it. "I know you" Dimitri shrugged. Mallory looked at him and put her glass down on the counter. "What are you even doing here?" Mallory asked.
"Bellami and I have thought about trying to be a family" Dimitri said. "It's a joke right?" Mallory smiled and rolled her eyes when he didn't say a word. "She told me you're seeing someone else already" Dimitri said.
Mallory laughed, "for someone who's trying to get a spark started between you two she sure informs you a lot about your favorite ex girlfriend's love life" She said and walked out of the kitchen and stepped back into the breakfast room.
Mallory grabbed her plate and served herself watermelon and cantaloupe. She grabbed two cinnamon waffles and went back to her seat. "Chocolate chip pancakes, good choice" Mallory said to Noelle who was speaking with Bellami.
They began having breakfast. Everyone ate in silence until Roman decided to be the first to speak up.
"So how is Oxford treating you two?" Roman asked making everyone turn to look at Mallory and Noelle. She knew Noelle probably didn't want to answer and decided to answer herself instead.
"It's great. Can you believe I bumped into my ex boyfriend and Dimitri's brother" Mallory said.
"School isn't just about boys darling" Amancio replied. "I didn't say it was" Mallory answered as she shook her head. Amancio looked at Mallory before slightly turning his sigh towards Noelle, "How are you liking Oxford?" He asked Noelle.
Noelle looked at her father then at her grandfather, "I love it. It's great to be away from home" Noelle looked at her father as she said that. "I'm sure it is, it's the same reason to why my wife and I moved to Milan" Amancio set his hand on top of Eleanors who smiled at him.
"Although, I believe we'll be extending our trip and staying here for a few more weeks"Amancio added. "Really?" Bellami smiled. There wasn't anyone who loved her grandfather as much as Bellami did. She was his favorite granddaughter as well.
"We're doing some renovations back in our Milan home and until they're ready well head back" Eleanor announced.
"You didn't notify me" Roman said to his father. "This is my home, I don't have to notify you" Amancio said. "I know father but I could have had your bedroom prepared" Roman said.
"Well know you know" Amancio said.
Almost everyone finished having breakfast but Mallory was still cutting her last peace of bacon. Once she was done one of the maids stepped in to take her plate away.
"Well breakfast was great but we'll be heading out" Mallory said as she pushed her chair back but her grandfather stopped her. "Sit" Amancio said and Mallory took her seat once again. He had his wife Eleanor hand him a portfolio that he opened and set in front of him before looking at everyone on the table.
"I asked you all to gather because I want you all to hear my testimony from my own mouth" Amancio said.
"Are you going to die?" Mallory raised her brow. "Mallory" her mother Antoinette frowned. "It's just a question" Mallory answered.
"We're all going to die when our time comes. I know that a lot of families have problems once they hear what the deceased left them so to avoid all that I will let you all know what you're getting." Amancio nodded.
"Grandpa do you feel okay?" Bellami asked Amancio. Mallory couldn't help but let out a small laugh at Bellamis hypocrisy. "I feel great" Amancio answered Bellamis question.
"Lets begin with the properties, to my wife Eleanor I leave her our home in Paris." Amancio said and Eleanor smiled. Eleanor didn't argue that it was all she got because she had her own wealth herself.
"To my granddaughter Mallory, I leave you our Milan home and our penthouse in Miami. Of course you know that you keep this home as well"Amancio smiled at Mallory who nodded and thanked him. "To my son Benjamin, although we haven't interacted for many years you get all my cars and our beach house in California"
Benjamin frowned as he was surprised then thanked his father. "To my sweet Bellami, you get our home in Atlanta and our apartment in Manhattan" Amancio smiled.
"Noelle, it's a pleasure to have you with us. You'll be receiving my malibu home and our families black villa in new york" Amancio finished speaking. Noelle didn't know what to say since she wasn't expecting anything. She thought about telling Amancio she didn't want any of it but didn't find the words.
"As to the company. You all know that it has been handed to the first born child for several generations now. Unfortunately this generation changed, you gave it up Benjamin and your brother Roman stepped up. I was thinking that change can good." Amancio nodded.
Mallory wanted to comment that unfortunately that change wasn't all that great due to what her father did but Amancio looked at Roman and patted his shoulder letting him know that he was proud.
"Considering change is good I took a very important decision last night" Amancio said. Benjamin thought his father would give him half of the company as his father said that. "So leaving that said, Noelle will be getting forty five percent of the company" Amancio looked at Noelle but he wasn't the only one. They all turned to look at her as soon as they heard that. Bellami frowned and was left speechless considering that the company was supposed to be hers after her father.
Noelle felt everyone looking at her and felt as if they had been starring for a long time but it had only been about three second before Benjamin spoke up. "What? That's ridiculous she has no idea what the company is about. Needless to say she's majoring in medicine not business" Benjamin said to his father. Noelle just like everyone else was shocked and didn't defend herself
"The company is supposed to be mine!" Bellami stood up to tell her grandfather.
Mallory, Antoinette, and Eleanor were happy that Noelle would be receiving half of the company and smiled at her. "You're no businessman yourself either" Amancio said to Benjamin who was only infuriated because Roman had given him access to half the company many years ago. They both helped each other commit fraud after fraud. However Amancio never knew that Benjamin always had access to those actions.
"As to you Bellami, you won't be getting the company at all." Amancio said to her. Dimitri was the only one there who didn't care.
"Why? Why her if you don't even know her. Her father literally took her away for a reason. She probably doesn't even want the company" Bellami argued.
"I want them" Noelle finally spoke up making Benjamin and Bellami turn back to her.
