Mallory stepped into her closet as she had one of her mothers assistants help her clean it out. It was half empty already as they had nearly packed all of Devin's belongings that Mallory didn't want to move herself in half a year after his passing.

"Do we put the boxes in different categories like yours?" The assistant asked Mallory.

Mallory looked at her and shook her head no, "I asked his parents if they want to keep them but they said they'll come today in the afternoon to choose a few items they'll keep and take the rest of the clothes to a charity of their choosing" Mallory said and looked down at the boxes that weren't sealed yet.

"Can you please leave me alone in here for just a few minutes" Mallory smiled.

The assistants stepped out and Mallory looked around before grabbing one of Devin's dressing shirts that he said was his favorite because it was the one he wore the day he confessed to liking her.
She knew which one exactly it was because he always kept a gold safety pin on the sleeve.

She removed it from the hanger and held it close to her but it no longer had the smell of him. She however decided to take it out to her room. She neatly folded it and put it into her main suitcase.

She heard a knock at the door and turned to see Noelle.

"Hey" Mallory smiled.

"Hi, are you done packing?" Noelle asked.

"Almost" Mallory nodded.

"I've decided to fly with you to New York tomorrow, I want to visit my mother and friends and think this will be the great opportunity" Noelle smiled.

"That's great, I didn't really want to fly alone" Mallory answered.

"Are you sure this is what you want Mal?" Noelle asked.

"yeah, his parents agreed that I should sell it and we agreed that they would be getting the money" Mallory nodded as she looked around her room.

"No, not about selling this place. Are you sure you want to leave to New York?" Noelle asked.

"Yeah I enjoyed my stay there during the summer before we went off to Oxford so I think to live there will be great" Mallory shrugged. She looked at her watch before looking back at Noelle, "I have to visit my parents in about an hour and I want to stop by the cemetery to leave Devin some flowers so I have to go" Mallory smiled.

Mallory sat in the chair that was across from where her father would be seated. She looked around at the other people who were visiting and wondered what kind of crimes the people they were visiting had committed before she heard a chair being pulled back.

Mallory looked at her father as he sat across her. "Did somebody accompany you?" Roman asked as he looked around.

"Why did you do something to be threatened?" Mallory raised her brow.

Roman frowned and shook his head, "I simply thought my mother would come with you or even Bellami" Roman said.

"Grandmother is making grandpa company, you know since he can't leave the house. Not that he can even get bored in that enormous house. About Bellami, I haven't seen her since she was released out of jail. I think she had agreed to speak with Brooke and her actual father but I'm not sure" Mallory shrugged.

"How are you doing?" Roman asked.

"Better than you are I suppose" Mallory said. "It's not that bad in here" Roman said.

"As long as you pay the weekly protection right?" Mallory raised her brow. She saw her father ready to speak but she beat him to it, "I know grandma has been sending you more than eight thousand weekly and I doubt its for toiletries" Mallory said.

"Why didn't that kid press any charges for his case?" Roman asked Mallory. "Did you convince him?" He added.

"Please I was just as surprised as you that he didn't start a trial against you. He probably got bored and realized that the only poor person here was you, I mean you literally stole a peace of land that you could've bought" Mallory rolled her eyes.

"They didn't want to sell it not even for more than fifty million" Roman said.

"Same thing, you could've bought some other land" Mallory shrugged.

"I leave tomorrow morning to New York" Mallory said.

"Business?" Roman asked.

"No, I'm moving there. I'm selling our home" Mallory said.

"The family home?" Roman frowned because the family home was one of Mallorys properties.

"No. Devin's penthouse. I just want to move away and with the new office being built in New York, I saw the opportunity. I just came to say goodbye until you get released from here" Mallory looked at her father.

"Does your mother know?" Roman asked.

"She's aware, I visited her before I came here" Mallory answered.

"Well all I can say is, good luck" Roman smiled. "Thanks. I also came to tell you that I hope that you being here all this time helps you realize how horrible the things you've done have been, and that when you do get released you're genuinely ready to apologize to those who you've harmed, including me" Mallory had a very faint smile before getting up and leaving.
