The following week Mallory stepped into her family's home and saw that Noelle had arrived.

"Did you just get here?" Mallory asked. "Yeah I just took my bags up to my room but grandma said we were having breakfast already" Noelle pointed down the hall.

"We're having breakfast outside?" Mallory asked.

"That's what grandma said" Noelle nodded as she looked down at her phone.

"Come on lets go and bless them with our presence" Mallory smiled as she walked along side Noelle.

When they reached the backyard they didn't see anyone so Mallory asked one of the maids where her family was.

"They're down by the lake" Mallory said to Noelle. When they got to the table they saw both of their fathers getting ready to shoot clay.

"Is shooting clay really distressing?" Mallory frowned. "Mallory can we have breakfast in peace, please" Antoinette said to Mallory.

"Of coarse mother. Hi grandma, grandpa" she greeted them before taking a seat.

"Do you like shooting clay too?" Mallory asked her grandfather. "Who do you think taught these two" Amancio pointed to his sons.

"Yes I know exactly where they learned everything they know from" Mallory said as she reached for a slice of orange.

"How was New York Noelle?" Eleanor asked her.

"It was great" Noelle smiled. "I suppose you stayed with your mother?" Eleanor asked.

Noelle nodded. "How is she doing?" Elenaor genuinely asked.

Noelle saw her father turn to see what she would say. "She's doing great" Noelle smiled.

Mallory grabbed her cup of tea and turned just as Bellami was walking towards them.

"What is she doing here?" Mallory asked.

"wether you like it or not she's your sister" Roman said as he loaded his gun. "That's not what a DNA test would say" Mallory smiled.

"Mallory enough! She doesn't deserve what you're doing to her" Antoinette defended Bellami.

Mallory rolled her eyes and took a sip of her drink. "You're just trying to make yourself feel better about the crime you committed which sooner or later you'll have to pay" Mallory said to Antoinette.

"You wouldn't mind seeing your mother in jail?" Antoinette raised her brow. "Orange suits you" Mallory shrugged leaving Antoinette with her mouth open in disbelief.

"Good morning" Bellami said once she reached the table. "They were good until you showed up" Mallory smiled at Bellami.

"Can't you see she's suffering?" Antoinette asked Mallory. "Good" Mallory said before gettin up and walking over to her father.

Bellami greeted everyone except Noelle.

"You forgot to greet Noelle" Eleanor said to Bellami.

"I didn't forget I just chose not to" Bellami said. Noelle smiled and chose to be the bigger person.

"How have you been Bella?" Noelle asked Bellami. "It's Bellami for you, but I've been doing just great Cassidy" Bellami frowned. "That is what Nick used to call you right? Cassidy" Bellami smiled.

"Yeah but you can call me Noelle Kline if you'd like, the last name actually applies to me by blood" Noelle shrugged.

Both Amancio and Mallory let out a small laugh.

"What was the fucking point of you bringing that women to confess if she's not ever coming back?" Bellami yelled at Mallory.

"It caused tension, I love tension" Mallory smiled and grabbed her fathers gun as he showed her how to hold it properly.

Her uncle had the machine toss a clay plate and Mallory looked at it before shooting directly at it and watching it break in pieces before it fell to the lake.

"Im still stressed" Mallory said to her father as she handed him the gun. She then went back to the table and took her seat.

After breakfast Mallory and Noelle excused themselves and left back towards the house but decided to sit by the pool instead.

"I kissed Devin last week" Mallory said.

"Devin? As in Devin devin?" Noelle widened her eyes. "I know. He was at the office and helped me get out of talking to grandpa so we had breakfast where he confessed he used to have a crush on me then we went to my apartment had some drinks and before he left I kissed him" Mallory said.

"Did he kiss you back?" Noelle asked. "Yeah" Mallory nodded. "And did you like it?"

"I did I even told him to call me when he was free but we haven't talked" Mallory looked at the water. "He didn't contact you?" Noelle frowned.

"He did, I'm the one who didn't answer"

"Why?" Noelle asked. "Because everything was going great until I thought about Ezekiel"

"So you still want to talk to Ezekiel?" Noelle was confused because Mallory had said to her that she wanted to forget about him just a few months ago.

"No. I don't know what I'm doing" Mallory sighed.

"I like Devin for you, he's really kind and funny." Noelle smiled.

"I couldn't smoke in campus and with homework and final exams I barely even had time to leave the campus" Liam said as he smoked a joint him and Devin were sharing. It had been a while that Devin last smoked a blunt but they decided to smoke it as they sat in his car outside of Liam's house.

"Yeah I get you I've been helping my father at his firm since I began my summer break" Devin said.

"It's cool that you decided to choose the same career it means you have a place saved to work with the Klines as well right?" Liam asked.

"I wanted to talk to you about-"

"Hold on Zekes here" Liam said as he saw Zeke drive up behind them and park. Liam grabbed a portfolio from his backpack and stepped out of the car. He took it over to Zeke who then drove away.

"What was that?" Devin asked Liam. "Some papers he needs for school. What was it that you were going to say?" Liam looked at Devin.

"I told Mallory I used to like her and we kissed" Devin said. Liam put his blunt down and turned to look at him with his eyes widened in disbelief.

"You're fucking with me right?" Liam smirked.

"No. The day we called you last week. We were in her apartment and I had to leave but before I left she kissed me and I kissed her back" Devin nodded.

"Oh shit. I had no idea you liked her. Why didn't you tell me before?" Liam slightly frowned.

"It didn't matter she was never going to date me" Devin said as he grabbed the joint from Liam.

"If she kissed you it probably means she would have. That's insane though, in a good way. I mean I'm cool with that but what about Zeke?" Liam asked Devin.

Devin leaned his head back on his seat, "I know I've thought about all that, she told me to text her but she hasn't replied in a week so it probably means she regrets what happened, I don't know" Devin said
