BETTY!!(Y/n) {3/3}

*Davids POV*

Was breaking up with Augustine really a good idea? After all I still love y/n so wouldn't that hurt her? Yes it was a good idea. I thought to myself before going to sleep.

School starts in about a week and I'm mentally unprepared. Apparently I'll be in the same class as y/n which should be interesting. Y/n is also throwing a party next weekend which our entire grade is invited to. Yes, that includes me.

I walked up her driveway, it's been so long since I was last here. As I walked up her front porch I took a deep breath just before knocking on her door. I fixed myself and then saw the door open and y/n was standing there. Beautiful as always. But, I didn't have time to take in her beauty before she screamed.

"GO FUCK YOURSELF DAVID JULIAN DOBRIK!" She screamed before pushing me away from the door and slamming it shut.

I woke up shaking but was so relieved when I realised it was just a dream. I checked the time and while being blinded I noticed it was 3am. So, I went back to sleep.

I walked up her driveway, it's been so long since I was last here. As I walked up her front porch I took a deep breath just before knocking on her door. I fixed myself and then saw the door open and y/n was standing there. Beautiful as always.

"Oh hey David. I didn't think you'd come." She spoke softly and confused.

"I wanted to see you so of course I came." I smiled at her.

"Come in the party is in my garden." She said and led me to her garden.

"Look. I just wanted to say. I'm so sorry about what happened during the summer." I said to her.

"I understand." She responded.

And then my alarm went off which woke me up. Stupid work. I was having a great dream. We'll see what happens next week.

*1 week later*

I had continuous dreams about y/n's party and it was finally the day of it. I found out she switched her home room and I don't want to seem like I'm assuming anything but I feel like I had something to do with it.

I dressed up in the usual all black and then took a few deep breaths before getting in my car and driving over to y/n's house. I could hear the music from the bottom of the street. I finally pulled up to the familiar house that I haven't been at in months. Just before leaving the car I took a few more breaths and finally got out.

Just like in my dreams, I walked up to her front porch to knock on the door.

"Y/N SOMEONES HERE!" I heard a familiar voice shout.

I noticed the door knob turn and my heart started to beat faster. It was her and just like in my dreams, she was the most beautiful girl I've seen.

"Hey y/n." I smiled awkwardly.

She looked at me confused and after a while responded with. "Hey David. What are you doing here? I didn't think you'd come for obvious reasons."

"I understand but I wanted to see you." I said.

"Come in." She said and motioned me inside.

"I know that you may not trust me but honestly this summer I understood that you were the only girl I ever wanted and needed in my life. If you don't want me back I understand but just know that I love you." I said to her and she smiled at me. In a matter of seconds she jumped at me and kissed me.

"I missed you." She said when we pulled away.

"I'm only 17 and I don't know everything but the one thing I know is that I missed you." I said and pulled her back into a kiss.

"WOAH I WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS!" I heard the familiar voice say and I turned around to see Zane standing there. "You sure he's trust worthy?" Zane asked y/n suspiciously.

"You know what. I think we can give him a chance." Y/n smiled and pulled me into a hug.

"Hey y/n have you seen- oh hi David." I couldn't believe my eyes. Augustine was here.

"Hey August what are you doing here?" I asked her.

"Y/n invited me." She responded.

"We met in the Starbucks she works at became friends and now we're married with 5 kids." She said and smiled. "But seriously yeah we became close friends and now she's here."

"David, I can't believe you'd leave such an amazing girl for y/n." Zane said while putting his arm around Augustine.

"If you're happy then that's all that matters." I smiled and kissed y/n again.

Finally after ages I finished this chapter. It took a while but I finished this trilogy. Before I get sued this is all inspired by Taylor Swift's folklore story about Betty Augusta/Augustine and James story. I just got really inspired by the story that I had to write my own version.
