"I hope you know, that you're freaking me out."
"We're here." Napakunot ang noo ni Chaewon nang mapagtanto niyang nasa isa silang field. It's a beautiful flower field.
"Ano bang balak mo?"
"Ilabas mo lahat." Sinuri tuloy ni Chaewon ang sarili niya dahil doon. Wala naman siyang dalang bag? Wala talaga siyang dala.
"Ilabas ang alin?"
"Lahat ng nararamdaman mo."
Sarkastikong napatawa si Chaewon dahil doon. "Gago ka ba?"
"Excuse me?"
"Sorry ha, pero una sa lahat, hindi tayo close." She's getting pissed again. "Sino ka ba sa buhay ko para pagsabihan ko ng mga ganitong bagay?"
"Aminin mo man o hindi, nakikita mo ang kambal mo sa akin."
"Pero hindi ikaw si Yongbok!"
Napatahimik si Felix dahil doon. "So Yongbok is his name."
"So please stop pretending to be him." Chaewon walked away, but Felix was fast enough to stop her. "Please lang, tigilan mo na ako."
"Bakit ganoon ang tatay ko!?" Nagulat si Chaewon noong sumigaw si Felix. Sa lakas ng sigaw niya nag-echo iyon sa buong paligid.
Is he opening up to me right now? Chaewon asked herself.
"May ginawa ba akong masama sa previous life ko?! Kaya ganoong klaseng tatay ang napunta sa akin?!" Binitawan niya na si Chaewon at humarap sa kawalan. "He promised!" Halata na sa tono ng boses ni Felix ang galit. "His promises to my mother turned into ashes!"
Chaewon wanted to walk away already, but she didn't know why she wants to listen to Felix. She doesn't know why she can't make herself leave.
"You promised her that you won't stay in the shadows and continue living your life! You promised her that you'll do your best to take care of me! What the heck are you doing?! I'm not even going to school! You didn't care when you lost your job! All you do is drink all day!" Sarkastikong napatawa si Felix at napalagay ng kamay sa kanyang baywang. Chaewon wanted to pat his back but something was hindering her. "WHAT A GODDAMN LIAR!"
"Felix..."
"When I meet Mom again, I'll tell her that you didn't keep your promise! Promises really are meant to be broken." Dahil sa tuloy-tuloy na pagsigaw ni Felix, hiningal na siya. "Your turn," he said turning to Chaewon. "It's okay if you don't want to. But trust me it'll help. You can go and forget me after this."
