"Chaewon," Napalingon si Chaewon sa pinto noong narinig niyang tinawag siya ni Minju. "Malapit na daw." Tumango lang si Chaewon at bumalik sa pag-aayos sa sarili. Pumasok si Minju sa kwarto at sinara ang pinto.
"Nandiyan na din sila Ryujin?"
"Papunta palang daw. Sabi pala nila doon daw tayo sa kotse ni Papa. Sila Ryujin daw doon nalang kay Jihoon." Muling tumango si Chaewon sa kapatid niya.
Nakasuot sila ngayon ng puting pantaas dahil ngayon ang araw ng libing ng Lola nila Chaewon. Tapos na rin ang limang araw na burol nito.
"You good?"
Mapait na napatawa si Chaewon. "Don't ask me that question."
"Right," Minju said. "That was stupid." She joked. "Anong iniisip mo ngayon?" tanong nito sa kapatid niya.
Hindi agad nakasagot si Chaewon at napaupo sa kama niya. "Lola didn't get to see Yongbok before she died," sinubukan ni Chaewon pigilan ang mga luha niya ngunit nabigo ito. "I failed."
"No, you didn't."
"Minju, I did."
"You didn't," Chaewon wanted to answer but she knew that if she answered their debate won't stop. "There are many ways that he could've met Yongbok before she died. You never know who you bump to on the street or greet in your everyday life." Napabuntong-hininga si Chaewon at pinunasan ang mga luha niya. "There are a million people in the world. There are chances that she did see Yongbok, she just didn't know it."
"But still," hindi na matuloy ni Chaewon ang sasabihin niya dahil pinangunahan nanaman siya ng pag-iyak niya.
"I mean, I overlooked some things about Hyunjin." Napalingon si Chaewon kay Minju dahil doon. "Akala ko fling niya lang ako, but turns out seryoso pala siya sa akin."
"He is. Ngayon lang namin nakita magseryoso 'yon sa isang babae. Walang girlfriend 'yon since birth. Crush lang keri no'n." Pagkwento ni Chaewon habang nagpupunas ng luha.
"'Yon na nga. I like him and I hoped that he liked me too. Then one day I heard that he likes someone else." Natawa nalang bigla si Minju noong maalala niya iyon. "Doon ako tatanga-tanga. I immediately got mad at him. I was so mad, na hindi ko napansin 'to." She pulled out the locket that was in her shirt and showed it to Chaewon. It's a heart-shaped locket.
When Minju opened the locket it showed a stolen picture of her. Minju also confirmed that she remembers the place she was in here. It's a Library. I love you was written on the left side of the locket. It was Hyunjin's gift that she almost lost because she threw it. Thankfully, Hitomi saw what she did and told her to never throw it again.
"Akala ko talaga hindi niya ako gusto, pero mali ako. Hindi ko lang pala talaga alam na seryoso siya."
