Loud "booms" woke the brunette up. She didn't understand what it was, or if it was in her head or not. She started and panicked in a bed before falling of it. It was like if someone was hammering her brain again and again. She pressured her head like if it could stop everything. And it worked, but someone grabbed her by her jacket and began to shake her. Jane felt a burning liquid going in her throat and threw up on her floor.

- "YOU'RE AWAKE!?" an angry voice asked.

Jane recognized her aunt. She didn't know how she did to finish at her home.

- "I'm furious, Jane! Joyce called me yesterday! What did you do to her!? What's wrong with you!?"

- "I didn't do anything!" Jane answered, feeling her stomach burning.

- "That's not what she said! Where were you!? What have you done this week-end!?"

- "Stop yelling..."

- "NO! You literally collapsed in the garden! I thought you were dead!"

- "I'm not, calm down!"

- "I won't calm down! Go take a shower and get ready! You stink and you have school!" Cassandra ordered.

The woman forced Jane to go to the bathroom and threw her clothes in the room before slamming the door. Jane lost her balance and fell on the ground, her arm on the toilet like if it could help her to not fall more. It was definitely one of the worse awakening she had never had. And Cassandra wondered why she wasn't staying here!? Jane was treated like a shit, and she was done with that.

Cassandra was pacing in her living-room, trying to calm down. She didn't know what to do with her anymore. She wasn't earning enough money to pay her sessions with a psychologist. She was feeling so guilty about this, she was failing a bit more every day, and Jane's behavior was becoming worse. But she couldn't blame her for this. She wiped her tears, took a deep breathing, and went back to the bathroom. When she opened the door, Jane was still on the ground, unable to stand alone. Cassandra felt her heart breaking. Jane was looking at her without really looking at her. It was like if her body was empty. Cassandra pouted and joined Jane. She placed the brunette's arm around her shoulders and wrapped hers around Jane to help her to stand. Jane's body was shaking, and her face was livid.

- "You're here, Jane?" Cassandra asked, calmly.

- "Mmmh?"

- "I'm sorry for what happened...I shouldn't have..."

- "My head hurts," Jane mumbled.

- "I know, I know. Come on, you're not ready for a shower."

The aunt helped her niece to walk to the living-room before sitting her on the couch. Cassandra went to the kitchen before coming back with a glass of water with an aspirin inside and a glass of orange juice. She sat next to Jane and gave her the glass of water. Jane drank it before wincing, not really liking the taste. Cassandra helped Jane to take off her jacket before wetting her face to decrease the heat.

- "What time is it?" Jane asked with a hoarse voice.

- "Almost seven."

- "I'm already late..."

- "Don't worry. I'll call your school to tell them that you're sick."

- "No, I can't. I've a driving lesson this afternoon."

- "Jane, you're not in shape to do anything!"

- "I'll be fine."

- "Stay here this morning, at least to take some rest."
